I was wondering if anyone here can kindly suggest me an awesome camera i can leave on my window sill and be able to see outside footage on my phone and on the go.
I understand that night vision will be compromised.

Mi XiaoFang only works at day time with a window in front or use it with a security light but its pretty good and you can check it with mihome app
combine with a solar motion light? Great thing about those xiaofang cameras is you don't need local storage, so it saves at least $20 on the need for memory cards
I would put on 1 or 2 pairs of sunglasses at night and test using your own eyes to see how much you see for a rough guide - i would go multiple solar motion lights but a strong spot light is the better option .
At day the camera works great but until maybe an 30 minutes after dawn a street light thats 1 house away across the road - using your own eyes i can see the road , but the xioafang cant the light cuts off like midway.
If you live in a well lit spot or in front of a street light you should be good.
Very true. In the end it depends on what your using it for I guess. If you need evidence, then no way. If you just need confirmation that something happened though, and the time it happened, then its a good candidate for the job
