Maybe because 16gb isn't worth the plastic its contained in.. my kids used to have that much on their ipods 10 years ago!.. and being an Apple you are stuck with it - unlike Androids where you can whack in a memory card.

Yeah I think early Wednesday morning. I’m actually running the GM version which I installed last Thursday. A few differences to get use to but overall a nice update.

6s is really good phone and I have been using it for 2 year with no sign of slowness. But 16GB is cruel, don't fall into this trap. If you are like me and use iPhone for 3-4 years the. 16GB is really bad value for money.
You can buy it for your old man/woman if they are not going to use anything but phone.

The iPhone SE screen is too small for you. 6S and SE have the same internals camera etc. as I understand.
You can live with 16gb. Depends on your usage if this is a mild inconvenience or a complete dealbreaker.
Just a heads up that the usable storage is around 12GB on the 16gb model
