Sourcing a Good Queen Mattress

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on where to source a good mattress from. I reside in Melbourne and open to ideas of either buying from a shop or online.

We bought our previous bed from Chiropedic.net.au - but to be honest I cant help but think there are not opportunities for better deals out there.

I'm keen on finding a GOOD mattress preferably for 1K, 1.5K at a stretch.

Any ideas?

Paul

We got ours from Regal, it's amazing. Was probably 5-6 years ago and still feels new.

I bought a Regal Super Firm Queensize about 2 months ago and it is fantastic! Super Firm

It cost just over $1000, and I got delivery and a pillow included in the package. It seems that the advertised prices are negotiable if you go in for a "fitting". They had lots of others in their range below this price point, but I wanted a mattress that I could flip, not a pillow top, and that was firm - and this one was perfect.

My husband bought his mattress, a King Coil, from bedsonline and had it delivered. His is fantastic too - it has a very cloud like pillow top and zoned springs. It was initially advertised at $1800 but we paid just under $1000.

Both mattresses were ordered and delivered within the week

  • Cheapest Sealy ones are at Costco from memory. Otherwise, wait for a 40-50% off sale at Myer/DJs.

  • I love my Ergoflex memory foam mattress (with Ergoflex pillows). The queen mattress is only $850 delivered. I spend a lot of time in bed as I have a disability and it is so comfortable. They even give you 30 days to send it back if you dont like it.

    Hi all,

I decided to go for the ErgoFlex matress - reason being i was able to order from home; and given this is for a spare bed - I was happy to balance cost and comfort. For those reading back on this ErgoFlex offer 15% off on their website… but they are also on Ebay.

The trick with ebay is: Counter offer at 25% discount - they counter back with 20% off - then you add whatever ebay discount you happen to have handy.

I ended up with a 20% off counter offer - then added a 5% off code from ebay + 1.25% cashrewards - obviously those who can wait should await a 10% side wide discount…
