  I hear good things about this game. How RPG is it for someone that doesn't really enjoy rpg genre?

    Um I think the game is on the more hardcore side BUT to enjoy it you can play it at the lower difficulty.

    I classify it as hardcore because there are so many things you can do in game, like study, workout, catching persona, doing character relationship events, etc etc. It is not for the faint of heart but if you like that sort of thing then it's a great game.

    Or if you are interested to platinum the game, you need to use a guide with semi-strict timeline to make sure you get everything.

    If you dont like RPGs then you are going to hate this game. It has plenty of RPG elements and is very linear.

    I've put about 10ish hrs into it so far (completed first palace), I enjoy the aspect of exploring towns and doing stuff during the days, but the dungeon feels a bit of a drag (even tho I'm playing Safe mode where there's absolutely no need for grinding/levelling)
    The story seems to have potential but progress is slow.
    Maybe (hopefully) it'll pick up later.

    P/s: FWIW I'm a casual gamer who plays games mainly for the story.
    For people who are into the grinding aspect of games and enjoy stuff like Disgaea etc this is right up their alley.

    P/s2: Story campaign is around 100hrs so keep that in mind as well

      I think the story close to 70-80 hours i think. I was doing a full complete run for platinum and it took me 120-130 hours total. I had to collect all persona which requires a short new game+ progression.

        If it's like the past games then you shouldn't need NG+ to get the trophy for all Personas collected. The one that requires NG+ doesn't get saved to the compendium so it doesn't count.

    There's nothing quite like it. No other series clones it. It has a unique formula.

    So it depends what you don't enjoy about RPGs.

  good game. im 80hrs in and around 80%. on a break from it because it does get quite repetitive
