  • Isn't Last of Us 2 slated to release late 2018/Early 2019.

Of late naughty Dog games were delayed, so may be available later even, IMO mad to pre-order so early

    • I agree it seems like it's a bit early. Each to their own though I suppose. The bonus is you don't pay a deposit, aren't charged until the game is shipped, and can cancel the pre order for free just by clicking cancel order from your my account page. Doesn't hurt to lock in a cheap price in case. I pre ordered MvC Infinite and the price has since gone up on their site, still have it locked in though which is good!

Yeah with my memory I'd forget I ordered and may buy a second copy by 2019 :)

        • Hahaha true that!

The good blokes over at base.com are hedging inflation for us.

  • :( I was getting very excited about TLOU 2 then…
It made me want to upgrade to the Pro.

    • I'm excited for it too, but I mostly play for the story, so content with 1080P secondary TV and normal PS4

  • Never mind

  • The release dates stated are laughable.

This is like at best a couple bucks below standard / expected day one prices for the games.

Why are we so keen to slap down our money ages in advance to wait for shipping on a foreign copy of a game we could buy here for largely the same price?

    • I highly doubt the release price for TLOU will be 60 odd dollars in Australia, and as stated above, you aren't charged until shipment, so why not?

      • Big budge games are usually 69 at the usual suspects.

True, you're not charged, but why place an order. I'm not even knocking it, I'm just wondering why anyone would be super keen on signing up to buy something ages in advance when they're not being offered anything amazing, and would have to wait for shipping and the sort.

  • Hope TLOU2 is at least just as good as the first one.

  • Does anyone know how long the delivery normally takes? Thanks.

    • 5-10 days to Metro Aus generally.

  • Don't know why, but these prices in the title don't make sense. SoW translates to 51.6 AUD to me using google conversions. Am I doing something wrong?

Silly me, doesn't know how inflation works

    • Yeah the dollar would have changed since this was posted. That's why I have the ~
