Hard to keep up with all this xiaomi stuff

    • +15

What does this machine do with the human bodies after it inducts them, is there a little capsule in it where the bodies are stored?

      • +1

Induct your personal info to Xiaomi HQ in China?

This one does not need the Mi home smartphone app to work, but I have a few other Xiaomi products, which are all great, but the app to control them requires complete permission to all your data on the phone to work, which is worrying.

        • +7

I have this running theory that Xiaomi is a Chinese government company that steals all our information….sadly, in reality i dont think its too far from the truth

        • @silr20: PRISM

        • @silr20:
Unlike our trusted spyware State Intelligence whores at Google, Amazon, Microsoft…and countless others on your phones, TVs…computers…
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-JwjYd0-ZI

Hard to steal info from a non-connected pir sensor. Which is what this seems to be. We are all exploitable sheep to our fascist so-called leaders.

  • Good find and great price OP! Gearbest fixed their code however Banggood seems to discount it further.

  • What makes this smart?

    • does not activate in day time, unlike reports of the bunnings and ikea ones in the previous thread on this device.

  • +2

Guess I should give this a +ve since I found it first https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/328495#comment-5056359
Not sure it was worth a new post rather than the other post getting updated though, however, good deals all round!

    • Even better as it's not such a waste of batteries.

      • +12

What kind of ozbargainer are you if you don't have eneloops!?

  • Thanks very much for the heads up. Got a couple and it's always good to have something to use the bazillion Eneloops on.

  • It is showing as A$7.35 on my Citibank credit card charge. :)

  • Is this an AU plug type?

    • +1

      Battery drived

      • +2

        Battery driven

        FTFY.

  • Bought, Thanks

  • Down down down… Keep getting down down down… Buy now tomorrow going down……

  • Hmm post said no battery included but other reviews from previous threads said they are.

Maybe they cut cost by excluding them now…

  • +1

Does banggood offer afterpay for this product?

  • +2

Any idea how long a new set of eneloops would run for, with average usage, before needing a recharge? A few days? A week. A month?

    • Want to know too before buying..

    • +3

Well assuming a lithium battery has 3000mah at 1.5v, A 1900mah eneloop at 1.2v should last for about 50% of the time rated for lithium batteries so around 60-90 days based on their estimates would be my guess.

  • +2

the light will turn on when human body is inducted

I am not sure I want to be inducted.. :/

  • How long does it last on 3 x AAA batteries?

    • +2

The pamphlet says about 12 months. Depends on how many time you get up to pee during the night?

  • Does this stay ON at night time if looking over a bed? Need a night lite for the young one that stays on.

    • You might want to get one that plugs into mains instead.

  • Thanks OP, finally got one :)

  • Its worth waiting the Gearbest retaliation!!!!!
