Pros
Industry leading warranty program
One of the most inexpensive SSD lines on the market
Great sequential transfer speeds
Cons
Overall sub-par performance
Outperformed by the Trion 100 in many of our tests
Bottom Line
Though the Trion 150 offers supremely adequate though underwhelming performance compared to higher end consumer drives, its inexpensive price tag and fantastic warranty program makes OCZ's newest economical drive an attractive upgrade option.
supremely adequate though underwhelming
Jeez, make up your mind !
I bought one back to Aug/2016 for $270. Runs good until now in my PC.
What had happened?
It's seen this post
He's not too good at predicting the future.
Would make a good gaming laptop drive lol.
I am not concern over benchmarking for SSD as they are all performing pretty much similar for daily drive. I am more concern of longevity of this drive compared to the Samsung EVO.
Aren't TLC worse than MLC in this regard?
Yes, I have only purchased MLC SSD and avoid TLC drive. I have a SLC drive years ago and is still going strong.
'EOL note: These is CLEARANCE Product, limited quantity(normally less than 5), which is available on a first-come, first-serve basis while stock last. The product(s) will vary in condition and might be an Ex-Demo or damaged packaging.'
Wonder why the MSY rep forgot to mention the bulk of them are returns………………………..
Good point, rep?
Mate its MSY
Change their name to MSYMMV ?
"might be" does not mean "is"
All of them are brand new :)
Suggest you change the website description then because the 'EOL note: These is CLEARANCE Product, limited quantity(normally less than 5), which is available on a first-come, first-serve basis while stock last. The product(s) will vary in condition and might be an Ex-Demo or damaged packaging.'
is there for a reason. How's that accc court case going anyway? The one about warrantys?
Hmmmm, looks like Australia isn't actually covered by OCZ Advanced Warranty…….
Still got normal standard warranty…
good luck with that having bought with the attached description, cause changing it here don't mean much
How do these Compare to Samsung EVO?
