Anyone know the seq write speed on these new A1 cards? Probably still ~20MB/s but would like to confirm as I can't find much on Amazon etc.
Minimum sustained Sequential Write Speed of UHS-1 is 10MB/s - anything more is a bonus but is not what the card is rated for.
UHS-1 = A1/A2 = V10 - all the same sequential write speed, the difference between the A and UHS/V classes is that the A class has a minimum reading/writing IOPS rating which is more relevant for application use.
If you want a guaranteed minimum sustained write speed of more than 10MB/s you need to go for UHS-3 or V30+.

After several failures i've completely lost faith in Sandisk.
Just my experience.
Last card that failed was a 64GB Ultra, it write locked, thus all the contents were intact, including my sensitive info.
Buy Sandisk wanted the card to be returned to them.
I've heard other manufactures being satisfied with evidence that the card was destroyed in order to send a replacement.
With the Transcend ultra durable card being just about unreachable here in Au, i reluctantly went with a Sandisk High endurance for a couple of dash cams, seems to be the recommended card second place to transcend, hope for better from these.
I thought I was just unlucky having 2 of their cards write lock on me. A 32 and a 64GB ultra (one in my Z2, one in my S8+).
