What does Xiaomi actually produce and what does it license (or whatever the correct term is). They buy out good ideas don't they as well as developing their own products?

Phones and tablets mostly. Some products come from their invested companies like Huami for the Mi Band or their Crowdsourcing platform like the XiaoFang camera.

        • Is Yeelight separate somehow?

        • +1

@bxpressiv: Yes Yeelight is a separate company with Xiaomi as an investor. Xiaomi have integrated a lot of Yeelight products into their own Mi Home app however.

Yeah but these have - silver ions and nickel silver plates which you dont see in coles ones -

The bristles consist of three different materials in different heights.
The upper flexible spiral-shaped bristles is with strong cleaning power, perfect for your opsigenes area.
The second layer antibacterial bristles can quickly remove dental plaque.
And the silver ions bristles on both sides are with soft touch, can take good care of your gums.
      Support bass method.
Adopting nickel silver plate to fix the bristles, corrosion resistant and anti-bacteria.
Unique rounded head, reduce the foreign mouth sensation, comfortable for your mouth.
The grip is slender and elastic. This lends it a classic stylish appeal and facilitates the cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.
Rubberized area provides a firm grip and visually picks up the dominating bristle colour.
Comes with carrying case, portable to carry.

"reduce the foreign mouth sensation" sounds like a product Pauline Hanson would endorse

      • In that case I'll give it a go. I thought a toothbrush is a toothbrush….

Coincidentally just picked one of these up during a trip to China. They're the best damn toothbrushes I've ever used. They feel like marshmellows wrapped in microfibre, that probably sounds weird. They don't exactly have bargain bin prices, but they're well worth it.

    • How long do they last?

      • Can't comment on that, I'm only 2 weeks in, still feels brand new. But then again, I've never had a toothbrush fray even after 1 year of use, so I'm probably a gentle brusher.

  • You obviously need the highest levels of quality and innovation on the technically difficult to make product known as a brush that lasts 3 months!

    • You missed the point. Many people recommend replacing every 3 months, but they last a lot longer than that.

      • +2

I replace mine when they stop resembling a toothbrush.

  • @clear any update on a deal for the mija shoes?
