Will the 3M tear off the paint on your wall, or get stuck to the wall when you try to remove it?

      Better to use blutek

    • The slightly different Yeelight model can be mounted magnetically if you prefer ;) Probably more suitable to mount this on furniture or hang it somewhere.

      • How does that one mount magnetically? The wall isn't magnetic as far as I know.

Looks brighter for not much extra.

      • Didn't even realise they were 2 seperate models. Any other significant difference between the two other then the magnetic mount and brightness?

One has a lithium power source and the other AA. Different sizes, different light pattern etc.

        • @Maverick-au:
Thanks. I'll need to look into which one will best suit different parts of the house. Looking at putting some in the hallway and one in the bathroom.

      • clear any deals on the mi shoes?

        • I'll let you know when I have something.

        • @Clear: thanks

    • I have one of this. Uses 3 AA batteries (included). Comes with a plastic hanger which sticks to the base if you prefer not to stick the base to a wall. But you will need a hook/nail on the wall to hang it to.

  • @clear any deals on the xiaomi running shoes?

    • Sorry I haven't been able to get a deal at this time :(

  • Is 15 seconds adjustable, not enough time to use in toilet for a night pee?

    • +3

The sensor is pretty sensitive, just wiggle your thingy a bit while you pee and you'll be right. :) Assuming you have a thingy of course.

      • +2

My thingy is too small to trigger anything.

This is designed for the Asian market so you should be fine.

          @Maverick-au:

Lucky it's not the African market version then.

  • Hmm, for some reason it comes out to $15.68 AUD with the coupon?

The code actually makes the price go up? Weird.

    • Mine did too, it was doing it when I went from 2 to 3 - so I guess its for the extra shipping/larger parcel?

    • The light is already on sale and the coupon discounts it further, but returns to the original price before applying the discount.

Best to use a CC with no currency conversion fees set to use its own exchange rate in Paypal as GeekBuying's rate is somewhat inflated and Paypal will add a fee onto their conversion.

Seems like coupon is per order rather than per item.

I just made two separate purchases to get the discount twice.
