Sub $50 Speakers to Connect to Amazon Echo Dot

I am after a cheap-ish set of speakers to connect to an Amazon Echo Dot. I don't need audiophile level stuff, the use-case is in the bathroom for playing music while in the shower / bath and later on maybe get it to read back the weather or what-not.

Was thinking something sub $50, prefer stereo, small / discrete. Wall mount or roof mount is fine / preferred. The Echo Dot will be wall / roof mounted (well, plan is to anyway).

Any suggestions?

    Get a bluetooth speaker, then you can mount the Dot anywhere and the speaker somewhere else

    The dot has a built in speaker, see if it's sufficient for your use? It's not too bad for music - with the money you save you can buy another dot :)

      The dot speaker is kind of rubbish, but plenty good enough for weather read. Music not so much. I have mine connected to an old Logitech Bluetooth portable boom box type thing. Has an old Apple 30 pin dock, but also 3.5mm audio jack so I just use that.
