When will people learn to use the direct link. We don't care about the crappy promo page ffs

  • Did this come via email or just appear in your eBay promotions tab?
I got offered 75% off fees but when I clicked the email it said "not eligible" seems they sent a dud link.
Anybody else get this unlimited one?

    • +1

I got this email 2-3 days ago and it didn't work. I got it again yesterday and it didn't work. After reading this, I tried again and it finally worked. Thanks op

  • argh no email again

  • Sigh, not available to me.

  • argh no email again

  • got no email but i got the offer.

just check your "all selling" scroll down to see the offer.

  • OK Just tried to list something after TWO failed link emails from eBay saying that I had a 75% off promotion and clicking to accept the offer in my eBay annnd….. it doesn't work!!!! The list remains at 10 unused and took if off the regular 40 for the month.
Well done eBay, 10 out of 10, full spaz fail.
    Outstanding!!!

    • The 75% off promotion is working now. Use this link if you got the email then relist the item.

      • +1

Yeah its there in my promotions and active, but when I list an item the counter doesnt change. It comes off the regular listings counter, not the promo one.
        Deep fail by eBay

        • +1

If that happens just chat with ebay support. They'll tell you to contact them once the item sells.
Once the item sells, contact them and they will refund the final value fee right away.

Received the email, yet upon opening says "this promotion is by invite only." Nice one eBay

just go into My eBay/Selling Sold/Promotions it will be there, same happen to me

  • Ebay fees are out of this world. I had to pay them $120 fee to sell $900 BBQ. $120 just crazy considering low expenses ebay has.

  • "The promotion only applies to listings in one category. If you add an additional category to your listings, Insertion Fees (and other applicable fees) will apply for the additional category"
Does this mean that if I want to sell a camera and a mobile phone, they are 2 different categories and the fees will apply to the second listing? I can't get my head around it. Cheers

    • +1

pretty sure that means if you list a ph in phs & coins no free fee's so only one category per listing as in list the ph in ph's and camera in cameras you will get the free fee's if sold in the time frame of promotion.

      • Thank you. Today makes sense.

  • Re this T&C: "Items must be listed and available for purchase by 23:59 (AEST) on 31 August 2017 in order to qualify for the promotion", the "available for purchase by 31/8" doesn't mean the auction has to end by 31/8/17 right? I just have to list it on 31/8/17 and have the auction run for 7 days and that would be covered by this deal?

    • Yep, would definitely still be covered!
