It looks like a NUC.

Commercial model isn't much more and likely works harder.
$110 delivery fee to WA..
I didn't check as I'm at work, I'll have a look about after work if you like?
Just because it is sold in an online catering shop does not mean that it is a great piece of equipment. I couldn't find any reviews of it online. The breville has got quite a few reviews that are mostly favorable:
http://icecreamscience.com/breville-bci600xl-smart-scoop-ice…Can you show me something about the "commercial" model that you listed above that proves how much better it is?
Take it as you will but I found reviews on nisbets and 2 other sites - nisbets being one of the main sellers. I'm not going to convince you either way, but generally speaking commercial machines are designed to work for a long life.
I bought this a week ago. Works well so far.
I own this and absolutely love it. Home made ice cream is so much better than any commercial brands. My favourite flavour I make is 'cake & flake' which is cake batter flavour with mini Cadbury flakes. Owned it for 3 years, gets used regularly & has been flawless.
i also have this. love making homemade icecream and gelato. Only problem is it struggles in the heat in Summer, which is when you need it more! Lolitsme - please post your cake and flake recipe, sounds delish!
It is:-
Standard base (4 yolks, cup of sugar besten for 30 seconds) then add a full tub of thickened cream. To this add half a packet of the cheap home brand cake mixture you find in coles / Woolies & mix. Churn as normal. Chop up 1 multipack of mini flakes (1 mini into 3 works best). As you pour out the ice cream into your tub sprinkle in the mini flakes.
Cake batter flavour ice-cream with flake, personal invention & it rocks.
ooh sounds good…. but you don't warm the egg? food poisoning issues?
@chocfrogs456: Never, all my ice creams use the same base & have for years. This is the way to make perfect ice cream !
@lolitsme: like
$300?
That's a lot of Magnums! Like, at least 12.
I used to have this model, it does a decent enough job. Way better than frozen bowl dealies. Motor seemed plenty strong and never skipped a beat.
that said, once you use dry ice, you never bother with it again. Unless you eat a ton of ice cream I guess.
Can you cook rice in this?
Does it come with wifi?
I have this model also. We love it. Great price. Thanks OP.
This or a years supply of Cornettos hmmmm ….
