  • Timed to perfection, Thanks

    • Hang on isn't the word "Gummies" a trademark of Mars confectionary?

    Are these safe to eat?

    • +1

not if you are older then 15

    • Eat at your own risk…

They are not labeled properly so your guess is as good as mine as to what chemicals have been added to them and if they are safe to eat…

  • +3

These are not compliant with Australian Food Regulations.

I doubt it is legal for these to be sold here in Australia without proper labelling…

'Food additives are required to be identified by their class name and by an individual name or code number. The numbers used are based on an international system used to identify food additives.'

    • Dude, they're freaking lollies.
I bet that when (oh sorry, if) you buy lollies from a lolly shop, you'd ask to see the ingredients list. Get over it.

    • jv from Whirlpool?

I've gotten these lollies before from 1-day - they're properly labeled, with all ingredients and additives.

Also, it's perfectly legal to sell food without listing additives or ingredients. When you go to a restaurant, you don't always see what they've put in the dish on the menu, do you (including the additives of the products they use)?

A restaurant or cafe does not need to label their dishes, but packaged food does need to be labelled…

But it has been mentioned the food is labelled, but is the shop registered to sell food is the question…

EDIT: we have been provided some ingredients listing above, but not the nutritional information table, country of origin etc.

I've bought a pack of those sour snakes a few times, not from here but from discount places. They come with a guarantee - will make you go temporary blind and burn out your tastebuds if you eat them all within a 4 hour period, or your money back!

Then again, you could eat them over say, 3 months, but then they go all gooey :P

Hey guys I've bought a few of these before, they do have stickers which state the ingredients, i'm not sure if it's the same as the ones listed on the website or actually more detailed like class name & code number (i think it might have the code number etc. but don't quote me). but either way probably doesn't meet aus quality standards.

if you just want some cheap gummy's to chew on, at $5.30 a pack or $4.30 (if you buy 2 sets) it's an alright price. they are all similar texture, seems soft when holding, but when eating, seems a bit hard to chew, similar to imported lollies from the lower-class shops. not soft like allens lollies. flavour is all right, maybe not as sweet as allens lollies, but still has the right flavours according to description. they took me quite a while to finish as with the starburst 1kg i finished within a few days, these ones are just to fix up your sugar needs, not very satisfying to gobble the whole pack.

might be better to spend the extra $5-10 and goto cash & carry to get your bulk quailty goods. or even the supermarket at slightly higher prices, but at least it'll be satisfying. in the end they're not bad lollies, just not the best.
