50% off Boots @ Myer (Eg Timberland $129.97 Delivered with Code)

ANNIVERSARY20ANNIVERSARY15ANNIVERSARY10

Here's a pretty awesome deal on boots at Myer, they have 50% off their range of men's and women's boots with heaps of sizes available.

This deal is a lot better because you can combine it with the anniversary codes to get the prices down to a possible 60% off RRP. The Timberlands seem to be an awesome price alongside other great boots. I have used "ANNIVERSARY20" to get the price in the title.

  • This deal is probably gonna blow up

  • +3

Why is Myer's website so terrible?

    • +2

If you're having issues, I'd recommend turning off Adblock, using incognito or a different browser for the best experience.

  • +1

Awesome, haven't seend it cheaper else where. Plus unlike other stores, Myers has a good return and exchange policy.

    • does Dr Martens wear small? i.e. if i'm Aus size 8 should i get a size 8?

      • Yep, UK sizes are one down from US. I normally wear US 9, but in store the size 8 fit best.

Got a black pair last deal, and a tan pair today (albeit size 9, which I hope to exchange for an 8 eventually).

  • +3

very good deal, but I have to tell me myself that I don't need it.

    Don't forget another 1.3% cashrewards :)

    • +1

Think that only applies via the ebay site.

  • +1

Anyone has any idea what size is shown on the page? US size or AUS/UK size?

  • Does anyone know if the Timberland sizes are in US or AU. Stupid website doesn't say.

  • +1

lol annnnd sold out of 9, bummer

    • From what I've heard timberlands run pretty big so maybe you could fit an 8 :)

And I believe it's UK/AU sizing on the website.

      • +2

        aaaand 8 sold out!

      • +7

I work at Myer specifically mens shoes I can tell you that the Timberlands is US sizing.

        • Thank you for the clarification, are all boots in US sizing on the website?

        • +2

@doweyy: Unfortunately no its not it depends on the brand itself

  • +2

Have had Timberland, Cats, Doc Martens etc. but nothing can beat RM Williams boots at the moment.

  • Any of these boots suitable for a kitchen environment where floor can be slippery?

Or is there a certain boot, brand I should look out for

    Thanks

    • +2

Hey mate - have worked in a kitchen, I know what you're talking about. I have tried a few different shoes, Converse, Skechers, Nike runners, whilst working there, all were slippery.

I have Palladium boots at the moment for general use and I have a feeling they'd be quite good for the kitchen. I recommend you go to a store to try some on, talk to them about it. They might even let you make an area of their floor slippery and give them a go, who knows. Best to talk to the people who know what they're talking about r.e. this stuff. Good luck!

Thanks buddy, really appreciate the insight

        Shall look into it

        • I remember when I used to work in a kitchen, shoes never last that long in that greasy environment.

I bought a pair of Julius Marlow's which lasted 11 months before the sole split. Took them back to Myer for a replacement pair, no questions asked. 11 more months later, same deal. 4 pairs later I left the cooking game.

          Buyme - 4
          Julius Marlow / Myer - 1

        • have a squiz at shoes/boots designed for bouldering - they have a softer sole and more grip (sort of half way between a rock climbing shoe and a hiking shoe). The downside is that they can mark hard floors because of the softness. Five ten do some good ones, but they are pretty expensive.

        • @dtc: Thanks dtc, will look into it

        • @Buyme: Thanks for the insight Buyme, I've been hinted to look out for oil resistant shoes, so I guess most standard shoes dont cover that.

  • Missed out :(

  • got tims and dr marts and others :3 all under $250

  • I have bought 3 boots so far the past month. This is not good for me…..

  • With these go at least 1 full size down. I had to go down 1.5

  • Thanks mate…grabbed some wild rhino shoes…tried in Myer and bought some of their site a while back…great shoes.

  • Took the Timberlands for $129. Wasn't really looking, but hey they're a staple.

Cheers for the post, bought myself a new pair of work shoes, which I, not in the true Ozbargain fashion, paid full price for last time I needed them. I consider the $99 I saved this time to be a genuine saving. My thanks to you, friend.

Great to hear, enjoy your new shoes :)

  • Thanks :)

I couldn't Click and Collect and was directed to a store.

Was then told by the store staff (Melb Bourke St) the sale ended at 3pm today, but online prices are still reflective of 50% off. Luckily they still honoured the discount, as they now scan at full price.

Grab em whilst they're hot online peeps! :)

  • +1

Make sure if you're buying multiple pairs to put them through individually using the anniversary codes. Otherwise the discount will be spread across all items in one transaction!

  • My Timberlands apparently shipped this afternoon.

  • Guys I just need a comfy black or chestnut coloured shoe. Could someone please advise me what would be the most comfy shoe, I am a student and spend hours walking around at hospital on the wards and my feet HUUUURT :( its legitimately painful. I got RM williams but they are still painful and I need something that is just really nice and comfy and which I can wear with formal pants.

    • How about these?

      • +1

ehhh, ill wait for when they are on ozbargain for 29.99

    • wear black sneakers mate. like most of the other HC professionals.

      EDIT: and use insoles!

      • I WOULD LOVE to do that !! but I think the senior health staff will look at that scornfully.

        • +1

Aren't Rockport supposed to be comfy but in basic black styles?

        • +1

@pcox: aw thank you for that, yea I just had a look they seem to be a really great option. thank you

    • +1

Looks like you are more after walking/running sport shoes if that is suitable in the environment. A lot of padding and an inch of the "air" sole.
I was using those when I had to do a lot of walking back in times…
If that does not work I can vouch for the O2 Motion from Julius Marlow. I know people don't like the quality, but I was reasonable happy with my O2's and the price/performance ration was also good.

      • yea I hear the JM shoes are not that great, but O2 motions look like really good options. thanks for that

  • Thanks for the post! got two pairs that i didn't know i needed.

  • man! shoes are $99.97. need to get to $100 for discount / shipping free

anything for like a few dollars that anyone can suggest?

    • +1

I had a look and I think this face washer is the cheapest thing available on their website :)

  • +1

I just went in the store after work. The sizes that I wanted was gone from the online store, but the Myer employee was happy to price match the store item for me.

Didn't get the extra discount from the coupon code and cash rewards, but it's a hell of a price for a Timberland.

  • man i am still waiting for my myer gift card from AGL rewards in hope I could stack the disc! :(
