These have been cheaper in the past; around $5-$6 mark.

      • Agree.

Has anyone else noticed that there seems to no longer be free shipping on anything from GearBest starting today? I had items in my cart but was waiting until I got paid today to purchase them, and now they have added $2+ on each item to ship to Australia, making them uncompetitive with other suppliers.

Yes, that is what caught me out. I have never paid for basic shipping from GB.

    • It probably due to the difficulties they have with Auspost and Restrictions (especially on power banks).

      • Nah the ex-CEO's Ferrari is gone

  • US $1.47, for about same dimness (40ish lumens)

I have had one of these in the past. Objective word is had. You'll very quickly loose the light as it isn't well fastened to the charging cap which is the bit that connects to the keyloop. Additionally I wouldn't say it was as functional as the Nightcore which has momentary switch and high/low operating and no removable parts (unless you count the attached rubber bung).

However I have three of these Nightcore units and sadly one of them seemed to develop a defective switch. Would only sometimes respond and other times I'd find it turn it self on while hanging from the car ignition (ie no button press). Would probably buy more tho.

      • I've had about four different designs (~25 of) that look identical. Most are good. All lose their keyloop hook.
For < $3 I have scattered them around cars & friends over the years. Charge is still good > 3 months latter. Maybe 1 or 2 hours solid use, short recharge time.
Better quality is good but these being usb charge & cheap as, are to me very good chi-crap ;-)
