Thanks. That link is much better as MSY never bother to update/add to the deal of the day products page on there web site to show the current deals.

  • Oops.. morning brain not working.. lol. - Mods Please delete

    • i believe the max from each port is 2.4A

But the max amps if all ports are used is 5.

Tp link have a 8A one too

      • Did the maths.. 5V x 5A x 5 ports is not 25W. (125W). at 25W, would be highest 5V x 1A x 5 ports.

  • Edimax EW-7711MAC Wireless AC450 5Ghz USB adapter $14

its rubbish, doesnt work on Mac, after googling and trying i gave up

  • Not worth it if you're plugging in any more than two devices, as only two at a time can get full 2.4A charging speed. Any more devices connected; the longer they will take to charge as it will drop the amperage to compensate as the charger can only sustain a max of 5A at any one time.

That's fine if you're not always in a hurry to charge, e.g. you'll just be sitting at your desk the whole day.

Not all devices use the full 2.4A (or even 2A for that matter), and those that do don't use it during the whole charge cycle - it ramps down as the battery gets charged.

That said, I'd rather wait for another tronsmart/blitzwolf deal.

  • Side note the microphone on the Gamdias headphones are complete and utter BS in terms of quality. There is none.

  • Can't you get way more awesome high end ones (Tronsmart?) from Asia for maybe $10 more but they output heaps of power and the new ones have USB C too or something?

    • $10 more? I think you meant save $10. The BW-S1 outputs 40W or 2A x 4 devices or 1.6A if all ports are used.

      • Still slower than the brand he mentioned 😉

        • I have 2 of the blitzwolf ? ones and they're pretty great and to my knowledge, still not as good as the tronsmart.

        • Yeah was just comparing the $20 TP-Link charger with BW-S1, a $10 non-QC charger.

        • @hamwhisperer: Can I ask what's lacking?

  • Anyone got the http://www.tp-link.com.au/products/details/cat-15_Archer-D9.… ?

I'm looking to upgrade my adsl modem/router/switch device to get 5ghz wifi

    • Yes I have got one - been very happy with it.
