You should + the deal 😉
:), also thinking about picking one up for a spare rig
apparently this is a really bad case
What part is bad?
I recall from some reviews that airflow is not the best in these cases (ok with aio CPU cooler or custom loop) and also that cable management needs a lot of work as everything is on display (including the back where you can typically hide cables).
tl;dr needs expensive cooling and big effort in cable management
Yeah I was thinking of the cooling aspect too when I saw it.
However I think if you're just building one as a htpc or for non-gaming (i.e. on board graphics), then it should suffice.
custom loop wouldnt be the best idea for this case
last time i went to buy a case, i was gonna get this but after reading some youtube reviews, it looks great but in practice its not that good. i went with the S340 elite.
Postage is $43 for Sydney :(
You need to work on your website as it looks a bit ancient for an IT hardware store.
Also, checkout seems very familiar with shoppingexpress. Are you linked by any chance?no we aren't linked, does look similar though, website is being slowly redesigned at the moment but we should have it running up in good order soon.
They might just be using the same shop script
I live in Sydney and the shipping is roughly around $45. It's a great looking as well as a good case but wish I could pick it up :(
Yeah but that just means it puts it back up with the rest in price and kills the savings. At $88.00 yes - at $135.00 prefer other cases, but I + the deal anyway.
This deal is only for good for local pickup, no good for us in Sydney and other major cities that require delivery.
Oh definitely. I would love the case if it was free shipping, definitely an instant buy for me but just that shipping and no local pick up makes it just the same unfortunately.
no local pick up
Enter a postcode, click on quote then it gives option for free pickup
@TightBottom: As mentioned before, I live in Sydney and I can not drive to pick that up instore. If i did that I might as well buy it with the shipping, better for me.
Oh! OK then mate
Great price, shame about postage (PC case tend to be dear while shipping bc it comes in large boxes)
Holy cow this is a good price. Too bad I don't need it :(

BBC = British Broadcasting Corporation.
Unsure what this has to do with the op or this post since its BCC
Really it was a typo but I left it because reasons.
My question was legitimate though, like how people call them ATM machines but the M already stands for machine so they are saying automatic teller machine machine. I was wondering if this was the case here because that is an unreasonable number of 'C's.
But how sure are you that one of the C in the BCC stands for computers?
For all you know BCC is the acronym of the owners name.
Hence why I was asking what it stood for?
GO Parcel Post - Standard Service $43.00
Express Post - Standard Service $124.95Freight a bit pricey for me ion adelaide
Got one.
2 mintues later got a call to ask where I'd like to pick up from. What service!
Basically Geelong and Southland have in stock and would be ready tomorrow, Knox you might be waiting till Monday/Tuesday.
Should have MSY type monthly deals, would definitely buy from again if this is the service we get.
2 usb 2.0 ports U gotta be kiddin me
Not too big an issue. Just use your mobo IO ports for 3.0.
or type c the sht out of some dongles
Thanks rep, will take 1. Any other good deal while I am in your store ? :)
good for VIC buyers. looks like a great looking case, but I guess cable management would be difficult.
Shipping gets even better if you're in the West..
Parcel Post - Standard Service $97.00
Express Post - Standard Service $269.40Up North,
Parcel Post - Standard Service $117.25
Express Post - Standard Service $403.05It cost me $300 to send a small form factor PC from Perth to Hedland last year.. An extra $20 from the Perth price for standard isn't all that bad, but damn that express post is ridiculous!
That is pretty expensive shipping! Shoulda tried a courier like fastway, tend to be cheap as
@H32017: It was a courier, can't recall who though as it was over a year ago. I just remember the sting ;)
Great deal. Good case.
Check out my build in this case
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/c2tJ7PNice built! 😍
Using the same light here :)
always shop at BCC
keep in mind front panel is tempered glass
Postage is bananas
X58 + X5650 budget workstation build
In what world is USB Type C all new?
In win 303 is better IMO. $99 umart
seems like an odd choice for a store to stock 53 different PC cases but not a single power supply. perhaps that is the reason you have to have a clearance of cases. still it is a good deal at half the price of normal retail.
LOL.
D-Link and redundant… mmm perhaps they mean redundant in another sense to the one some would think…
Best PSUs available atm look to be the FSP units; They have some good cheapies but spend a bit more for high efficiency to save on our Glorious Government Graft and Carbon Corruption's crazy prices on energy. Aurum models or their Hydro G range (650 or 750W) will save you kWhs over time has with 5 year warranty. They seem as good if not better than the Corsairs…
TBH, PSUs aren't as dodgy as people say as long as you're getting something from a decent brand and preferably 80+
@H32017:Indeed. Which still nails you for $50 as most brands are dodgy. The 650W FSP $105 I just bought has brand, 80+ Gold certification, 5 year warranty and zero noise (fan shuts down on low load) so less fluff and more longevity too. Corsairs have 3 year warranty, but are not made by them.
If really pushed, consider looking for 80+ Silver rather than 80+ Bronze, they are far better as the components have to be much better than the others or they can't get the certification.
The certification relates to the efficiency curve which means that they are usually made better but thats not always the case
@H32017: Yes, but it's the best indicator of performance we have. I find little else to go on as they are all made in sweatshops. I like weight, physical build quality, both are hard to assess remotely/on the web.
Excellent I can now 'showcase' my AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHZ 2GB Ram.
Been waiting for a deal like this!Right there with ya mate with my Pentium 4 2.5GHz
hehe you should see my frame rate on duke nukem 3d!! killer ;)
