HSBC King St has free copies of October edition SmartInvestor magazine on their coffee table (where customers can sit and wait), saw a stack of 10 left when I was still there. Asked one of the bank guys and they said yes it's free. Not even a HSBC customer! :P
Colleague tells me they had more of the mags at their concierge/reception desk …
yeah.. it is stealing. Try asking the concierge and if they say you can get it for free, then you can post it here.

I always see a stack of newspapers for free outside the newsagent at 4am, I always help myself. Kidding :)
SmartInvestor just had their annual awards. I suspect HSBC won an award and therefore are giving them out free for some positive publicity.
