    It's showing as sold out.

    • You are the man!

      Fixed up, cheers boss! :)

  • Interested - Any options to add data if one might require more than 1gb? Or is the only option to buy multiple SIMs?

    Cheers

    • +1

      https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/mobile/mobile-data/

All the data bundles can be found on that link. You will be able to top up while your overseas through the 2Degrees APP or online.

Buying multiple SIMs from us at a discount would be the best if you want to pay less but obviously you will have to switch SIM cards and also wont be able to keep your mobile number. 10.80AUD per GB vs. 20AUD per GB.

      Thanks!

      • $20 for another 1GB makes it cheaper to buy 2 sims to begin with

      • 3 weeks since my order, and it still has not arrived despite there having been a shipment notification e-mail. Would be great if you could check your PMs, have provided you my order #.

Too late for me I am afraid, going to NZ this weekend. I would have bought otherwise. Will you be having a similar offer on the Europe SIM?

    • +1

That's unfortunate, sorry we couldn't have this deal out earlier. Been awhile since we have done one.

Unfortunately we can't match this discount with the Europe SIM. However we have a 30% Discount running on OZB currently. You can use the code OZB30 on our Europe SIMs until the 10th.

      Thanks!

      • Bit confused with your EU offer. Next to the only 3 SIM available (at the moment) it says calls/texts to the UK only, included in the 'allowance'. But, when I check the 3 countries I'm going to (in May 2018) it says calls/texts included in 'allowance' to those countries. Help out a dippy chick! :D

      • Hi Rep. Any idea when you might get the 12GB data option back in stock? https://soeasy.travel/collections/uk-and-europe/products/thr…

    • Look around at the airport, either at a 2degree store, or around tourist info stands (and look for credit card size packets). There might be free sim cards. 2 degrees used to have free sims at various tourist spots, not sure if its still going on. You can then activate to receive calls, and recharge either online or vouchers if you want to make calls etc.

    • They say express is $10 within 1-2 buz days. So it may still be worth it? $21 for a sim card??

We are also deaprting to nz this weekend. Would have been awesome to hve received this deal earlier.

  • Signup requires a departure date. I may travel to NZ early next year say by April but date uncertain. If I am unsure of departure date, what would you suggest I do to be able to use this offer within 12 months.

    • Hi Scotch,

We use the departure date just to double check we get the SIM to you before you go. If you aren't leaving until next year you are totally fine to put a very rough estimate date.

The SIM will be at your door well before April :)

      Thanks!

      • Thanks, Ordered 2x

    Good deal. Thanks OP

    • Glad you like it ashdays! :)

  • +1

Thanks OP. I think this might be good for our trip in OCT. Can you pls confirm

    1) Can the data usage be tracked online or something?
    2) The network availability ( i heard some of the areas we are planning to go (e.g Milford sound) are notorious for no network). Pls confirm
    3) 150 mins to Aussie mobiles can be tracked online as well?
    4) Is it possible to get NZ number before our trip?

    cheers

    • +1

      Hi,

      1) Yes there is a 2Degrees app that tracks your data usage and shows how much remaining etc.

      2) https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/coverage/ you can use this to check different areas.

      3) Calls can also be tracked through the app yes

      4) The mobile number is printed on the back of the SIM card so, also yes!

      Thanks!

  • Hi we are going to nz on 16 december. So when sim will be expired if we buy now? And can we buy more than 5? Thanks

    • Hi Tango68,

The SIM cards do not have a shelf life (no expiry) so yes you can.

Purchase as many as you like :)

      Thankyou for your business!

I can vouch for this. I bought 2 of these sim cards to use in New Zealand in June. No issues with set up.. i just put the sim card in and started calling the number to activate.. nothing happened.. but i noticed my data was working on my phone.. so i hung up. Everything worked.

I was on a Topdeck tour and found a lot of the places i went or were driving through didn't have any coverage.. but in saying that, in most big towns, there was some sort of coverage.

I tracked usage with the 2 degrees mobile app with no hassles.

It was cheaper to buy 2 of these sims to have the extra data rather than buying extra data through the top up feature on the 2 degrees website/app. In saying this, some people i met on my tour did not need access to calls, so bought a data pack from spark mobile. They also had free wifi hotspots in majors cities (kind of like what telstra do here).

I have no regrets in purchasing these sim cards.. i thought it was well worth it. Hope this helps someone.

Have used previously with no issues. Have purchased again.

    excellent deal… just bought one

Thanks OP. Just in time for our trip next week.

  • +1

Excellent! Heading over in a couple of months, just what I needed! Thanks OP!

  • This is an excellent deal and half price what I paid in Christchurch/NZ.
The network has no problem; great reception and the internet speed
I finished 1 Gb in a week and given 1 GB for $10 again. I would suggest buying 2x, 2 Gb should be enough for average use for 2 weeks trip

  • Just buy one.
I will go to South Korea next month. Any Sim deal?
    Thanks

  • hi, im already in NZ can you post to NZ or is it just Oz addresses? cheers

  • Any USA or Canada SIM Op??

  • Thanks OP. Not going to NZ anytime soon, but bought 4 anyways! Planning to go July next year.

For anyone going to or been to NZ, do u mind sharing your itinerary please? I've got 2wks solo in Oct-Nov and am hopeless at planning. Much obliged

    • +1

Check out tripadvisor - a lot of itineraries available there based on your preferences.

    • +1

I've driven around the country twice, going Nth Island for a week, this time. Send me a msg with start & finish points and what you want to do and your budget, might be able to help! :)

      • +1

Thanks mate, I'll take you up on that offer once I book my tickets!

    • +1

Check out the itineraries that Topdeck, Contiki, etc do! That will help you.. They hit up a lot of the main attractions!

  • Thanks OP, great deal; I bought two Sims.

  • I remember when 2 degrees first launched in N.Z. Ahh $2 sim cards were selling out like no tomorrow.

  • I wish you ran this promo last weekend as I am leaving for NZ this weekend.

A bit of a deal breaker if i go with express shipping.

  • Thanks OP: bought two. Usually I buy a 2 degrees SIM when I arrive in Wellington, but it's one less thing to do when I get there (at midnight, Christmas) and this saves me $20.

  • Thanks OP. Bought! One less thing to worry about now!

  • Hi OP, great deal. If I order a sim today, when would I expect to receive it if I'm in Brisbane? I need it before Wednesday next week as I'm off to NZ.

  • Hi OP, do you have any discounts for the 3 UK recharge vouchers?

  • I'm in Queenstown at the moment, I purchased this deal when the OP posted a few months back..

The sim pack is sitting at home on the bench top.. lol! Silly me..

So I ended up getting a Vodafone NZ Travel sim $40 which gave me 200mins / 200 txt NZ & AU along with 3GB data on the Vodafone 4G Network,

Unsure if this deal would be good coverage wise but I've travelled from Auckland to Queenstown and only a couple of places have been limited coverage

  • Thanks OP. Picked up 2 for our trip. Have so much still to organise this deal definitely helped out :)

  • Can you buy extra data for this via SoEasy Travel or do you need to top up via 2degrees after?

  • Thanks! Perfect timing as I'm planning a trip over end of August

  • +2

Just an FYI for anyone that's interested, if you are with Vodafone Australia, you can use your phone like normal in New Zealand; no roaming, you can call any New Zealand number at standard prices, your data continues as normal, etc… This was January last year so i'm not sure if it still applies

  • Wondering if 1GB is enough for 12 days, given the lack of free Wifi in accommodations

  • So when are these actually going to be posted? Purchased very soon after this deal was posted up. That was Monday. It's not Friday afternoon, a full 4 business days after my order, and it's still listed as "we're getting it ready"….

    • Hi sol,

We will be fulfilling the remainder of our orders today. We had alot of orders come through due to the popularity from you Ozbargainers! so we have some orders backlogged. Keep an eye out for an email today saying your order has been shipped.

      Thanks!

  • Hey SoEasyTravel,
could you please confirm if you post to NZ? cant get an answer from your website.
    thanks

    • Hi Shonofear,

We can post to NZ yes. But it will cost international shipping costs. Which would kind of make this deal not worth your time unless you were to buy multiple sims.

      Up to you!

      Thanks!

  • Hi OP, I still have not received my sim card and it's past the 3-5 business days shipping as it was ordered on the 8/8/17. On my order it still shows only
    "Your shipment is confirmed
We've accepted your order, and we're getting it ready. Come back to this page for updates on your shipment status. "
Does this mean it still hasn't been sent yet? If not, can I please organise a refund as my flight leaves tomorrow. I did specify the on the website the departure date of 16/8/17. I took a bit of a gamble on this one hoping it would arrive before then as it should make the postal cut off times. I'm assuming if the order has not been processed yet and you saw the departure date of the 16th you would not fulfil the order?

All good. Sim just arrived in the mail. :) Postie was late today, thought his run was already done.

    • Hey Penro,

Glad you received your SIM! Enjoy the trip to New Zealand! :)

  • Ordered 6 sims on Monday 7/8/17 when the deal came out. Still haven't received them. At the airport now about to take off. If I had known they would take an extra 3-4 days to post this out, I would have paid extra for express post. Disappointed

  • Well I'm not surprised to see comments regarding non delivery now that I review this post. I ordered 1 card on the 7th and I am due to leave on Saturday (18th). Nothing has arrived yet despite the promise of 3-5 business day delivery. I'm not at all impressed considering 10 days have passed and I am still awaiting a response from the "[email protected]" email.
What now? Cross my fingers and hope that it arrives tomorrow. No, of course I'm after a refund. Will this happen. Not sure. I would prefer to not to have to raise my concerns on Facebook to encourage a response.

  • 10 days ago received email that sim was shipped, still haven't received it. Contacted via email on their website, no reply. :(

    • Hi raspudala,

Apologies we didn't get to you via email, we have been having issues with both receiving and sending emails!

Could you please message me your order number through Ozbargain so I can further investigate.

  • Ordered a couple of sims on the 7th. Still waiting for them to arrive.

Has anybody canceled their order? I paid via paypal

    • Hi Ashdays,

If you could please message me with your order number I will be able to look to see where order is :)

We have had issues with a few of our Shipments being delayed depending on the location within Australia.

      • I sent you a pm yesterday. Still waiting for your reply.

        • Check your messages :)

        • @So Easy Travel:

Yes, got the one you sent a few min ago. Thanks

  • Still hasn't arrived. We've been jipped

    • Hi Daniel,

We're still here, no jipping going on!

We are having issues with a few shipments being delayed, if you could message me your order number so I can look into that would be wonderful!

  • I also ordered one on the 13th. I do not think it has been shipped yet..

    • Check your messages Leiiv :)

    • Finally, it arrived this Tuesday. It took 16 days which is far from the promised time estimate.

  • Order #1822 On 10th August still hasn't arrived.
Supposedly sent out on 11th August, but no response to emails, no delivery…

    I feel ripped off too!

    • Hi Ag,

      Check your messages :)

      • Checked and responded.

      • Hi rep, could you please check Order#1630 as well? Ordered on 8th August, still not received. Paid by Paypal. thanks

  • Feel ripped off - Ordered on 7/8/17
Only have paypal transaction no communication from seller
    Have opened paypal dispute
    Buyer beware

    • Hi newxr,

I have just sent through a private message

      • Well amazing - an email just popped up with an order number #1580 and A CLAIM THAT IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED. Will believe it when it arrives

        • Awesome!

Should expect to see the SIM today if not early to mid next week.

        • As expected - Nothing!!
          Have escalated paypal claim

          Poor Service

        • DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS
          NO DELIVERY AND NO COMMUNICATION

          Paypal dispute opened

        • @newxr:

Hi there newxr, we have sent you a private message rectifying the matter, please get back to us asap.

  • Ordered on 7th August and still waiting…similar pattern here. Unfortunately SIM won't arrive before I depart. Won't be using again.

    • hi Jett,

Some orders were delayed to go out - we had a large amount come through from this post. Please PM me your order number and I will make sure to have it looked into and refunded if we can't get it to you.

      Thanks

      • Hi,
Order number is 1577. I'd like to get a refund on this order.

I'm also waiting on order #1826.This is for a family member with a trip departure date of 25/9/17.

  • Question for OP:
If we have received the SIMS after our departure date like a few of us have, what should we do with the SIMs? Do we still get a refund as promised?

  • Fantastic deal. Put it back plz

  • Hi, Anyone not received their sims yet? I ordered mine 8/8 with Dispatch 11/8….Still havent got it?

  • I ordered 11/8/2017 2degrees sim cards, until now have not received yet…. bad company??? Order number is #1829.

    • Finally, they arrived Monday. Exactly one month from order date.

  • Same. My order was dispatched on 11/08…Still nothing yet. Even sending them a PM no reply. Order number #1570. If its taking more almost month to deliver something….surely something is wrong.

    • It's a scam…I've returned from my trip and still no sim cards! Dispute now lodged with my bank to get a refund.

    • UPDATE: I've received my SIM. I had to contact their customer service and they end up re sending it. Glad they worked through this eventually.

  • Ordered on the 7th August. Still nothing. Lodged a dispute with PayPal

  • Same here.. I ordered on 11/8. Still not recieved!
    Order #1764

  • Is this a scam? I'vent received my order which was shipped 11 August and they're not replying to messages anymore.

  • Hi there ozbargainers:

To all the customers who have not received their NZ SIM card we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

We had a major issue with Australia Post which caused our SIM Cards to be held in their depot and among some where lost in transit.

We will now be shipping using priority service labels which guarantee delivery.

For any customers who still have not received their SIM Card, please contact us so we may organise a replacement or a refund to be sent out.

We have responded to all customers online and have sent over replacements to rectify the situation as fast as possible, we are here to help and we are definitely not here to wreck your travel plans! We just want travellers to stay connected abroad and avoid using roaming charges so that it is cheaper for all Australians.

Again, we sincerely apologise about the situation and we want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to situations like this which we did not anticipate on happening.

We will always be here to help anyone with any of their travel needs, please do not hesitate to reach out by any means necessary, it is our job to keep all of you happy.

Best Regards, The So Easy Travel Team
