This might not seem a big deal unless you are a family that uses cloth nappies! If you aren't, seriously look into it. You are an OzBargainer after all - if you use towels, diaper covers ("cc") and cloth bottom wipes, this is the cheapest way to diaper a baby and it's much less plastic filling the tip. People think it's a heap more washing but it isn't really. =) "If you use 1 cloth nappy/wipe a day, that's 365 in a year that aren't languishing around in the rubbish tip"…

Hi ihbh, I have't used them before but they are popular on the cloth nappy forums - see Clean Cloth Nappies Down Under. I think they are used like prefolds - so you padfold it and then use it as an insert or a booster inside a nappy cover. Liners are different - recommended is getting micro fleece (not microfibre) and cutting them to 11x32cm (width of an envelope) to place on top of the insert to keep bottom dry. For wipes, I've cut up flannel 20x20cm and edged them.
We call them Nappies here in Australia.
Wonder why
Well, here you go. Language is fluid, but now you will understand the history behind these two words.

Hi Eve, do you use these as cloth diapers? How do you keep it up around baby's tummy? Or to line them, wipe baby?
