    Was keen till I read its pretty much a TV on a stand with joysticks. BYO everything else..

    • Its much more than this. Its an advanced gaming machine.

      We have shown this product now across the world, still stating its the most advanced arcade machine on the market.

      • +1

        Stating it's the most advanced arcade machine on the market doesn't make it so.

        • Please show us another cabinet with these features, on plug and play basis.

  • -2

    Plays 'all' arcade game boards? Yeah right.

    • +3

      Plays all Jamma Boards, JVS, etc.. If you purchase the latest Tekken 7 game board - it plugs straight it (no need any power supply, cabling, or adapters). Or if you purchase a combo board from the chinese sellers, this is also plug and play. So yes, it plays the widest range of arcade game boards in the market.

      • -3

        ie. not close to all, as advertised. There were some pretty funky outputs during the 80s. How do you handle vector monitor outputs? Pretending to support obscure and undocumented old Japanese boards is funny in a noobish way.

        Don't try to verbal a 'yes', when the answer is clearly 'no'.

        • +4

          Sorry we missed the "Jamma" in the initial post and have updated. So it means that this machine can technically handle all the games from the 1980s to today.

          Not sure why you are going so hard. But yes, it can support CGA, EGA and VGA game boards running at 640x480, as well as Sega Model 2, Model 3, Triforce, etc… Namco System 246, 256, 357, 359 and more. Let us know when you find a cabinet close enough to support all these resolutions, inputs, outputs and gaming systems.

        • -1

          @Highway:
          "So it means that this machine can technically handle all the games from the 1980s to today."

          Why add 'technically'? Get as technical as you like and we can see whose technical skills run short. The JAMMA standard only came about circa 1985 and there were many arcade machines before then. Please don't pretend you have the technical highground as both technically and historically your claims are false and disprovable.

        • +2

          Because if we keep going like this, you might come back and mention game XX in 1986 was different style so it does not work. So we have listed as supporting Jamma games.

          All we can say is that we have done our best to make the most advanced machine available, easily can support over 100,000 games in the arcade, console and PC market.

        • -5

          @Highway:
          You are like a politician avoiding admitting you were wrong, instead answering marketing hubbub. False claim. End of.

        • +2

          We already acknowledged we missed Jamma in the initial post;
          "Sorry we missed the "Jamma" in the initial post and have updated."

          If you have any other issues or concerns about the machine, please call our office and we can explain the machine in more detail (especially if you are an arcade gamer who should know most of the items listed in this post).

        • -4

          @Highway:
          You say you support Sega Model 2. Virtua Cop meets that brief. How do you handle it's interface and scanline raster gun targeting?

        • +5

          Please refer to my previous post "Because if we keep going like this, you might come back and mention game XX in 1986 was different style so it does not work. So we have listed as supporting Jamma games"

          As you know, House of the Dead, Virtua Cop, Time Crisis all need CRT tube for the gun to function. But games such as Dead or Alive, Dynamite Cop, Fighting Viper and the Virtua Striker series will all work fine with the joysticks.

          If you are seriously interested in our machines and want to use the machine for gaming, please call our office and we can discuss over the phone (or, if you are located in Newcastle, welcome to visit our office). If you are looking to play gun shooting games on a joystick sitdown cabinet, sorry we cannot help.

        • -6

          @Highway:
          Please refer to the JAMMA spec to confirm it's 'JAMMA', not 'Jamma', hotshot. Seriously, how do you not know even the basics.

        • +2

          Jamma = JAMMA. Really wish you stick to the machine offer. Still, welcome to receive your call about discussing the cabinet and the amusement industry. Love to discuss with you "about the basics". Waiting your call.

        • -2

          @Highway:
          Thanks for your luddite<->truth translation. Here is a friendly timeline for your education:

          1978 Space Invaders released. #2 most successful arcade machine.
          1979 Asteroids released. Top ten most successful arcade machine.
          1980 PAC-MAN released. #1 Most successful arcade machine in history
          1981 Defender released. Top ten most successful arcade machine.
          1981 Donkey Kong arcade released. Top ten most successful arcade machine.

          … many years …

          1985 JAMMA standard introduced.

          You're welcome.

          Have you got DB13W3 support for SGI machines?

        • @Frugal Rock: Wow some serious nerdrage, must be another one that has gradudated from the university of Google search copy and paste!
          I'll give myself a pat on the back tyvm

        • -2

          @nikym81:
          Yeah. I 'gradudated' with honours, champ. I think you've been patting yourself too much on the front, anyhow. What's the URL?

        • +2

          Please tell me what your problem is. As I have mentioned, give us a call and we can talk about the product. We have been showing this product all around the world with good success and designed an all in one machine which can handle much more than any cabinet in the marketplace. We tested the product for at least one year before release and we are doing the same thing with the video pinball machine we plan to release later this year.

          If you are trying to teach us about arcade, please stop. We have been designing and distributing games for over 20 years, helped branded names such as Atari, IGS, Williams/Bally with product development and testing - even sponsored by the South Korean government to fly to Korea to guest speak to amusement manufacturers (other speakers included chairman of Sega, etc..). Arcade and gaming is in our DNA, we are still setting up arcade centres around the world, recently advising, installing, and staff training to Macau's Galaxy Entertainment's Casino for their arcade centre.

        • -1

          @Highway:
          Your problem is making outlandish claims that simply are not true. For example, "patent pending Australian designed IO board which handles virtually all consoles/PC/etc". For this to be true, you'd really have to support RF channels 0 and 1. That's not an obscure connector like the PSP's D-Terminal, RF was the dominant console standard for many years. So I'll ask simply if you support RF channels 0 and 1. I suspect you don't support it and will deflect with facetious passive aggression and indirection.

        • +1

          @Frugal Rock:

          I suspect you don't support it and will deflect with facetious passive aggression

          Up until this point I was interested in the response to your points, being a retro collector, but seriously - pot, kettle.

        • @Tihocan:
          Your observation that I am passive is duly noted. ;)

        • I have mentioned few times already, and best to give you a lesson in arcade and gaming now, the Xtreme machine (or any machine in the world) cannot have ALL games and ALL terminals and ALL game series work on plug and play. But, our machine goes the closest within budget constraints. Its an arcade machine first, console support second.

          We are still waiting for your call to educate you on arcade and arcade cabinet designs. If you want to support RF, its done via a different converter board inside the cabinet (yes part of the patent pending designs). Now stop…we never said we can handle ALL, we said it can handle virtually all.

          We have already over engineered this machine, the more components and features the higher the price. This is why the cheaper models we will soon introduce will not have such components.

          Best to call our office for an education in gaming. Will be waiting….

          Framebuffer upscalers are university level FPGA projects, hence the $30 jobs on ebay. What's your latency?

  • only HD?

  • Any deals on your Daytona 2 player cabinet?

    • sorry we are now clearing the balance of our new machines and concentrating on our development machines. If you send an email to our team and let us know where you are located, we can refer you to some of our customers/agents who might be able to help.

  • Your website states you guys are still on Maitland Road, but isn't that a Joblink now?

    • +3

      We are ground floor. If you come via Myola street we have 2 machines in our showroom.
      We also have our new prototype pinball/cabinets also on display.

    • Nah, this is opposite the park. I pass by most days when hearing over to industrial drive.

  • +3

    does it mean it has a PS4 inside? or need to plug in via HDMI ?

    • -1

      It does not include any console, you connect the PS4 and plug in via the HDMI and the USB cables inside the machine. Its as easy as this. Then if you want to change to a different console/PC, unplug the HDMI and USB cables and replug into the next console/PC.

      • how many HDMI are there?
        or there's no hub / switch include?

        • you can connect only one console/PC/etc at a time. Sorry there is no switch.

        • @Highway:

          Is there a diagram or manual showing how all the cables and plugs work?

        • +1
        • +1

          @Highway:

          the youtube doesnt show about the JAMMA board part etc.

        • +1

          If you are familiar with Jamma connection, the machine comes with multiwiring harnesses, including Jamma harness for plug and play for your Jamma boards. If you need more help please call our office and we will help.

  • +2

    You could say it's way overpriced in the first place but hey, if money's not an issue in your life then go for it.

    • we have built the machine to Japanese standard and a direct comparison to the build quality coming from Japan. Tekken 7 arcade dedicated machine sells for nearly $20,000 for 1 game. Our cabinet is well below this.

      If you are looking for cheaper machines, you can consider our entry level timber 20-26" cabinets with less features.

  • +7

    Don't get me wrong but I have read this twelve times and have clicked through once but I am still baffled to how I can consider it something I need, let alone a bargain….

    • +1

      You don't need it……but this is Ozbargain so you get it anyway because it's cheaper than normal.

  • +1

    How many have you sold for 5k?

    • clearly not if he is selling them for 2K.

  • Hmm buy this or a Vitamix…..

    • +1

      Or use the money to get a bride off the internet and then do away with the need for a Vitamix completely.

      You may get a little more to boot as well than just mixing and cooking of food.

      • +2

        on the other hand with this or the vitamix you wont lose your house after a few years

  • +1

    What are the alternatives and how do they compare (cost/function/quality/availability)? Regardless of this "RRP", those four factors are how I define a bargain. Not saying that this is one until we have some comparisons. So does anyone have some alternatives?

  • +8

    Personally, I think this post is misleading. You say it "plays" consoles and you can connect your XBox/PSN accounts, but in actual fact you plug in your existing consoles to what is basically a switchboard with HDMI input, LAN and KVM.

    You should at least make it very clear in your post that there are no console boards included.

    • +1

      I am sorry you read it this way, we have updated the post to mention no console is included.

      Also its not a switchboard with HDMI input/etc… its a proper arcade gaming cabinet. The fact that it can support XBOX, playstation, PC and others is an added benefit that separates this machine from others.

      • -1

        Thanks for the reply (and post update).
        I'd also like to know if there are any RF etc inputs to the board - as mentioned above in a somewhat less conversational fashion - as I am a collector of consoles, holding items such as the Master System 2, Gamecube etc.

        Personally, if you wouldn't mind some constructive criticism, is that people like myself will shy away from a machine that does not have a dedicated input/display switch. True, these can be purchased for around $50, but if I were to spend thousands on a machine for the purpose I would want something that is thoroughly tested.

    • sounds like a TV with controller plus a coin detector ?

  • +1

    oh, Shipping is not include, that is the MOST headache part :D
    haha

  • Looks like $hit

  • +13

    The amount of hate in here is crazy. This isn't someone reselling cheap imported cabinets, but a local who's tried their hand at developing a product.

    Agree that the title could be easily misunderstood, but I don't think there was any deliberate attempt to be misleading. Ease up people!

    • +2

      This is targeted more for business than regular customers, misplaced ad.

    • -1

      Truth in advertising isn't hate.

      • +10

        Dude, you were carrying on like a crazy person. The seller wasn't intentionally misleading, yet you kept on having a go at him needlessly.

        Anyone looking to purchase this who had a more than passing knowledge of arcade machines and game boards would have understood what the seller meant in terms of compatibility. They wouldn't have expected it to connect to some obscure early 80s non-JAMMA board.

    • +1

      I'm hoping my comment did not come off as aggressive, but constructive.
      I expect there are a few OzBargainers who own a business, so I don't think it's misplaced.

      • +1

        My post wasn't aimed at you. There was nothing wrong with the tone of what you said. There just seemed to be a few others being overly harsh, and given this is a seller who developed a product themself (as opposed to merely reselling imported goods), I felt it was out of line.

        • -2

          'developed a product themself'? How about the illegal arcade ROMs this seller has sold? Do you really think the 60 in 1 boards they sold were a legal joint venture between Nintendo and Namco and others, outletted on alibaba? You are defending a professional pirate with all that passing knowledge of yours.

        • +2

          Still blabbering about thing you do not know. We have been waiting your call since this post started and your slow ability to understand arcade is still coming through (have the courage to call and stop hiding behind your computer). Just as a further education, the 60-1 was not made by us, is not sold by us and even our overseas companies do not sell this game board. Right now, it is marketed and sold by others on Ebay, Gumtree, Aliexpress, alibaba and across the world - but is not sold by us. We made a decision years ago to not offer this game kit.

          For your education, the chinese companies who make this board are still exhibiting these game kits during China Trade Shows right next door to the factories you mentioned (they are all at the same show). Now, its up to these factories to stop the supply from China.

          The Xtreme & pinball machines we create will either come with factory licenses, or, you as the buyer can add whatever game you want to add. We do not sell it with 5000+ mame games, etc… However you should already know this. We have invested so much money to make our own products.

          Further, as I see you are from Victoria and should have some working knowledge of the arcade industry (or your an arcade pretender with google search references), you would know that 95% of the sellers in Victoria are currently selling this game board, maybe even you.

        • -2

          @Highway:

          "Just as a further education, the 60-1 was not made by us, is not sold by us and even our overseas companies do not sell this game board. "

          "We have invested so much money to make our own products."

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/73548

          Educational reading, indeed.

          "The 60 games are on one printed circuit board (not HDD) and includes classic games such as: Frogger, Galaga, Space Invaders, Pacman, 1942, Donkey Kong and many more. "

        • +2

          The post you referenced was 5 years ago. If you took time to read our reply we mentioned; "We made a decision years ago to not offer this game kit."

          I am not sure how much more we need to spell it out, we do not sell 60-1 game boards, we develop our own machines, and this post is about the Xtreme machine.

          You still lack the courage to call our office. If you really wanted to understand what we are doing with the entire project you could contact us and offer constructive criticism instead of smart arse remarks. Our company is working with many Japanese, USA and European software publishers right now to offer advanced game software and dedicated machines.

        • -1

          @Highway:
          1. Yeah, you have sold them and even designed them into your tabletops. You overlooked your very own advertisement, doh.
          2. Call you? Aren't you a known associate of convicted fraudster Lemuel Page? No thanks.
          3. You might have to keep spelling things out. It might help you fix your struggle with grammatical contractions.

        • +2

          Keep hiding behind the keyboard.

        • -1

          @Highway:
          Keep pretending you are Chuck Norris on the telephone, just because you bought his Total Gym from an infomercial.

        • +1

          No courage to call?

          Stop trolling and do something better with your life. Share something positive with the Ozbargain community that you have achieved or invented instead of spending your time on Google researching something smart-arse to say.

        • -1

          @Highway:
          Like the illegal machines you tried to dump on, I mean 'share' with the Ozbargain community. What's your formal qualification in the engineering sciences that's worth the cost of a phone call? How about you pluck up the courage to quote your latencies, or are you embarrassed. You deflect every time, just like you squirm out of admitting the machines you advertised here were illegal.

          There's no trolling involved. You put a misleading ad on here stating your machine plays Playstation 4 and Xbox One games that was false. A further Playstation 4 and Xbox One would be required. You then state you support all arcade PCBs. Untrue. Your claims of being plug and play are untrue for many connections you do not even support. How plug and play is your optical toslink support?

        • +2

          As I thought, you have nothing in life to contribute.

          You asked about our formal qualifications? We have a number of professional academics who are/have worked on our project. We also have an inhouse Electrical Engineer (just now invited to UK for 6 month project). Let us know what your "formal" engineering qualifications are, as well as your non-google arcade experience. Our entire office is interested to see what type of "expert" you are.

          The only person squirming is you - call us and talk to our team about latency, toslink and a number of false accusations you have made. You might actually learn something as the project is more than just a cabinet that supports PCBs and consoles. Just because you write something does not make it "real".

          All features we posted in this promotion are true about our machine, we have not tried to misled anyone - It is the most advanced arcade cabinet in the market. If you found a more advanced machine you would have posted long ago (sorry Google cannot help you).

          I am going to stop fueling this troll. The fact that you are not smart enough (or lack the courage to call our development team) is evidence enough.

        • -2

          @Highway:
          More questions you are too embarrassed to answer. Your investment in Lemuel speaks for itself, genius. Hang your hat on that 'winning at life' effort. Did that one go 'as thought' too?

          Keep on piratin' ;) and maybe get your engineer to write the actual specs (he might understand the word 'cabinet' versus 'machine'), rather than your own Bruce Dell/Euclideon-esque high-faluting laity. You and Bruce would make a super team of laughably bogus claims.

  • +2

    Oh man, i can buy an android stick or nvidia box and run emulation for all those :( with 65"inch screen.
