Small saving on a budget level router (not a modem, so you'll need your own VDSL modem for NBN Node, HFC modem for HFC NBN or ADSL modem if you are on ADSL2).
It'll work directly with FTTP, so just hook it up straight to your Network Termination Device.
Not much else to say. This router has MU-MIMO support, plus USB 3.0 port. There's no Cashback offer this time from ASUS…
Has very highly configurable firmware, can hack with Merlin if you are a power user and want extra features. May not support Merlin due to lack of support for Qualcomm chipset.
Looking for something higher end: try the ASUS RT-AC68U and use the coupon for $196 delivered. (Normally $219 from MSY)
Also check out Rgavin's recommendation for a linksys alternative that is slightly cheaper and just as powerful.
