Hi all,

Long timer user but only just created username. Oz bargain has saved me a few hundred dollars so I thought ill contribute to the community.

Victoria Basement is selling their Tefal Ambiance 6 Peice Cookset with 3 Bonus Utensils for $99.

Although it says sold out online, I contacted the Auburn store and they said they are doing back orders (for $99 If you secure your purchase by paying upfront). The in-store customer service lady also said they will refund your money if you're not happy with the purchase.

The extra saving here is, if you have an Amex card there was a mid year offer deal at a few participating stores and Victoria Basement was one of them. Spend $75 or more and get $25 back.

Essentially, the Tefal Ambiance 6 Price Cookset with 3 Bonus Utensils will only cost you $75.00.

It is retailing with sales for between $99 and $200 on other sites.

Unavailable online, you will need to call/visit store to backorder.

  Victoria's Basement & refund should not be in the same sentence without the word "no" or "difficult" (& any other words). Haven't witness the difficulty other customers had on getting a refund at their stores makes me treat every purchase from Victoria's Basement as non-refundable.

  FYI - According to the T&Cs I read the other day, I don't believe online purchases qualify for the AMEX statement credit this time around.

  Non-stick coating pans and pots aren't a bargain as they deteriorate eventually and you have to get new ones. Get stainless. I have IKEA's stainless set and it's brilliant. Not the cheapest one, not the most expensive one. Something like $80 for 3 pieces. Very buy it for life so far.
