ETS2 is currently $9 at EB Games, which is actually a better deal because it includes the Going East DLC.
Omg! I want the truck sim games so bad but I'm not buying a $4000 of master race gaming rig for them. Bloody console all we get is farm simulator… grumble grumble grumble…
Lol. Plus for your comment. It's not only the lack of options.. but to me, the premium pricing on farming simulator..lol. even the 2016 version.
I know! My daughter wants Farm Sim 17 and I'm all like, "wait till it drops in price…" and it's hanging onto retail like Overwatch! What's with that??
I just want a truck sim for Xbox or PS…

I'm playing it on an Intel i5-6600 HD 520 GPU (internal graphics) atm while I wait for a new vidya card so it's hardly power hungry.
I set high graphics in simple settings, changed scale to 100% and run the game at 1280x800 and get 50FPS - it can go higher res no issues but I have letterboxes (solveable by setting custom res yada yada).
Also play it on an Surface Pro 4 M3, 1920x1080 medium settings from memory. Setting the game to high priority makes a huge difference on SP4 as well as the usual "high performance" power settings and a fan aimed at the back. Get 40 - 50 FPS.
It's kind of compelling … it's boring and you have to watch all the road rules etc. … but on throw on some podcasts or music and when you're driving along at 4 in the morning grinding out the loads it's really atmospheric. Of course that's followed by cursing as you have to park the fing trailer :D
Squirrel's videos (search youtube for squirrel and ats or ets 2) are worth watching to get a feel for the game and learning how to drive trucks and road rules etc.
Can you pick up hitchhiking backpackers?
No. No pedestrians 😉
Time to dig out the Blue BONDS singlet.
