I want to buy one, but the overall review on eatability is 4.7.
yeah, service seems to be pretty crap according to many of the reviews…

Hi There,
@ JV - Please be aware that the picture is not to scale ;). We can assure you that the deal is excellent value; you will get your moneys worth!
@ Xiabeizi - Helm Bar is regarded as one of the best bar/bistro venues in the CBD! Everyone has their own opinion so we often find it is best to find out for yourself. I have been to Helm Bar and it was excellent.
Thanks,
The Jump On It team
There are knives and forks in the picture that look larger than the plates…
First thing I noticed. LOL.
Hi, any ideas how many coupons we can use per sitting ?
@ jump on it
"Helm Bar is regarded as one of the best bar/bistro venues in the CBD!"
By who? bit of a tall claim especially as your nearly on King Street Wharf and there are a heap of better Bar/ "Bistro" eateries there, also within 100 metres you have venues such as Chinta Ria and the Food and Drink company.
Trust Eatability
How many of these deal sites are there:
Ouffer
Cudo

…
I seem to be getting 10 emails per day with various deals.
This looks like one of the smallest seafood "platters" I have ever seen….
The more the better, if the deals are good value…
But if the place is crap and overpriced, what you pay may not actually be a good deal…
I was considering of buying before i looked at eatability and urban spoon reviews..
mixed reviews swayed me from purchasing..
Hi Everyone,
I really wouldn't let the size of the platter compared to the cutlery sway your decision! We try and source deals that are genuinely good value. If you are unhappy with your experience we will refund your coupon!
Thanks,
The Jump On It Team
That deserves a "+" then… If you're honest with your guarantee…
i just bought 2 coupons due to your saying " if you are unhappy with your experience we will refund your coupon!"
And any limitation on how many coupons could be used per table?
"If you are unhappy with your experience we will refund your coupon!"
big call - probably not incharge of the finance anyways!
Very honest jv. We want to make sure value is delivered.
4.7 from 21 reviews ! Ouch :)
Drop it to $25 then maybe it's a worthwhile to take the risk… :)
Plus if they can swap the bubbly for more dollars towards food (like entree for example) then that will be great.
The Blue Pyrenees Luna sparkling is around $20 retail, maybe a bit cheaper at a discount wine warehouse…
You know what they say about restaurants who resort to social media…
was tempted, but the reviews put me off. $25 and ill bite.
so if we were unhappy with our experience,
we just contact jump on it to get a refund?
and can we use like for e.g. 5 coupons for 10 people at the same table?
Hi,
Yes, that is correct. We do like to think that our customers don't take advantage of this and redeem vouchers even if they are happy with their experience ;)
Yes, you can use multiple coupons at one table for this particular deal.
Thanks,
The Jump On It team
ok cool,
just bought 3,
hope its good..
satisfaction guarantee is pretty awesome, went to river canyon using scoopons and it was the worst..
Haha! We don't like to bag our competitors, but we are better! ;)
We hope so! I bought 4!
is there any time limit you have to use the deal by?
valid for 6 months
so basically if we buy 1.
Go to the restaurant and happen to have a poor experience… i looked at eatability too and was discouraged from purchasing.
But with your guarantee will you refund us in cash or jumponit credits?
please advise
thanks
Think there is some harsh criticism here.
This bar is a very reasonable spot at the entrance of Darling Harbour. For $45, you get a bottle of champagne, and a seafood platter that is on the menu for $70.
At worst, you get a $22.50 lunch at a city venue (which I quite like and have been too several times without any problem) with a couple of glasses of bubbly - any city venue will be charging you $7 glass for house bubbles.
I think its a good deal
+ve 1
it that is the platter in your picture, it looks tiny for two people… would need to go to maccas afterwards…
