Multiculturalism is a nice ideal, and can be executed well; see Italian/Greek/various Asian communities that have integrated with Australian society whilst still retaining their cultural identity. However this doesn't mean you can stick your head in the sand with the regards to the failing multiculturalism projects of Sudanese asylum seekers, and particularly Muslim immigration when Islam philosophy is completely incompatible with a modern progressive society. But you can't point out these issues or offer attempted solutions without being decried as racist in this climate.
