bought one. I got 4 of the original version (genuine) 2 years ago from Banggood for $1 AUD as well. Found it really useful so looking forward to this enhanced version.
How much of a difference is the enhanced version?
you can apparently change the brightness level of the LED and it has an on-off switch. The original one uses the xiaomi power bank's switch to turn it on and off but it doesn't work with non xiaomi power banks.
