    They never mentioned what order it'd be in; I thought it was unlikely the PS3s would be up but checked anyway. XD Probably 11am but might have stuff in between? "Deals will be released each hour on the hour" but I thought I remembered seeing something about surprise releases…maybe I'm sleepy. ._.

    COTD know that 10am they will have the most views on the page, best chance to get rid of some unwanted chocolates, right? Cos by the end of the day, they wont have as many people viewing their page. And lets face it, the PS3, if it was at 3am in the morning, it will still get sold out

    10:01 got it in my cart then page cannot be displayed. 30 secs later the shopping cart actually loaded and it was sold out. My guess is they have 10 copies of Halo ,10 PS3's etc all the good stuff and use the traffic to flog an abundance of the crap e.g. chocolates.

    thats it, i've given up for the day.

    i'd rather work an extra casual day, earn a good 100-150 bucks and buy the ps3 from the local sony centre for $350 rather than wait with expectations for the whole day during work time which may actually get me fired. lulz.

    I really don't know why they do this, I know they put a warning on the page saying whingers should stay clear but us bargain hunters are all whingers. They are just leaving a bad taste in peoples mouths… why not have a good bargain that more than 10 people can get in on and put the infrastructure in place when they have these sales so 99% of the people don't get page cannot be displayed errors?

    If they did this then they would have happier customers instead of flogging a few extra box of chocolates and burning bridges.

    Next item will be more Chocolates… bet my life on it. Will go something like this:

    10:00 100,000 boxes of kinder suprise
    11:00 10 halo reach
    12:00 100,000 packets of Chupa Chups
    1:00 10 PS3
    ….. etc

    To make it fair if you actually get through and put the item in your cart they should give you around 10min to check out before the item is put back for sale.

    What gets me is, if there such a big store. Why are they on a $300-400 a month server in the US. When they could be on a $1000 a month server here in Australia, and not have any loading issues.

      The reminder was the email they sent last night with the time they were starting it, which was at 10am, unfortunately not a detailed list of each item at each hour.. if only lol

    Finally got it to my cart and the checkout finally loaded at 12:06… don't want the TV just did it for a laugh to see if it would be sold out again before the checkout loaded… not a very good deal imo

    I think anyone after a PS3 can forget it! Except the lucky 10

    If anyone is wondering the Sony Digital Camera to be listed is the DSCS1900. It's a bobby basic model 10MP, and is only supplied with alkaline batteries. Not worth the impulse buy IMHO.
