I am behind the 8 ball here, I keep seeing comments about video cards and data mining, and making lots of money from having a video card for data mining. Then I read up on bitcoin currency and data mining, and it makes even less sense to me now than before I had read up on it. It is like the "emperors new clothes" isn't it? Nothing in it, nobody is making money from using a video card are they?

  I'm not in on it but from what I gather, yes they are. However, electricity prices in AU seem to make it hard to be worthwhile (or so I understand).
