How do you get a trial of PSN Plus to get these deals in the US?
I didn't get a trial, I just made an actual US PSN account before to avail of cheaper subscription.
If you have a few profiles on your PS4, provided one of them has an active PSN sub, you should be able to access the PS Store, play multiplayer games that require a sub, and avail of discounts etc with any of the profiles.
$5.99US without a PS+ sub. $3.99US with. I created a US account added some Amazon credit and just paid $5.99.

Been watching this on XBL and PSN but thought the console version prices wouldn't get close to the Steam Summer Sale price of USD $3.99.
