Take note to those that ever used it before for dine in, they no longer do that, take away only now.

Yeah- if sucks because there are barely any public areas around to sit and eat near their's.

    • This used to be good value, but no more.
They're strict and won't even let you sit and eat at the 'bar' seats where people sometimes sit while waiting when the place is almost empty.
I didn't realise that the rules had changed and got kicked out one afternoon when there was only 3 or 4 tables of eat in customers.

this is on groupon and scoopon for all time..
when they first started, portion was good. well mixed..
now i see less ingredients…. not going there anymore..

    • I second that.
Portion was good last year, but this year more rice and very little ingredients

  • so many conditions..

We got this less than a year ago just to see what they were like, to see if it's a worthwhile place to eat at.
Rather disappointed with their staff reaction when we got there with coupons to purchase the $6 meals - no smiles, treating us like cheapskates. We had planned to try some of their other items on the menu as well but decided against that on the spot.
As it turned out our dishes (can't even remember what they were) were pretty average. I know we can't ask too much for the price but I'm avoiding the joint as I can't stomach the attitude.
    Just my $6

  • Not sure what's with all the negative comments here.

To me it's pretty simple, for $6 you get a delicious authentic Thai takeaway dish + a bottle of water.

I highly recommend the "Drunky Noodle" - has a good kick of chilli.

Unfortunately "drunky noodle" isn't on the menu for this deal - see https://gm-img.s3.amazonaws.com/2016/04-2016/07-04-2016/Jumb…

The negative comments, but not votes, are because there's obviously a few of us that are disappointed by the changes over the last 12 months. Between Groupon and Scoopon, I probably purchased about 30-40 vouchers for Jumbo over the last year, because it used to be great value.

Now with mandatory takeaway and nowhere nearby to sit and eat and smaller serves, it is no longer worth the bus/train trip for me from Town Hall to come here for lunch with friends or as a solo 'treat'.

Apparently their exhaust fan was been broken a couple of months ago… so no stir fry dishes (as i was told). Had to get refund from Groupon
Haven't checked in a while so not sure of its state now.
As others mentioned, was great before, not so good now.

  • I got a similar deal on Groupon and I am so disappointed with this restaurant. The staff at the counter was soooo rude and the food turned out to be way below the average Thai food level. Strongly suggest you not to dine there even if the deal might look cheap to some extend, u will regret wasting $6, and I personally would rather spend a bit more to dine in a decent restaurant at which you are respected as a customer.
