I've been receiving "estimated usage" bill from Red Energy which I think it inflated as the usage seems higher than my previous bills from a different retailer. I've requested Red Energy do proper meter read (I think this is actually done by Ausgrid or their subcontractor) but apparently this hasn't been done "properly" and Red Energy promised that they will obtain data from the network company (although it beats me why they don't do this for everyone). While this is being sorted, Red Energy asked me to pay the supply component only and I've done this.
Red Energy keeps promising that they will investigate and get back to me but they keep failing their promises.
I know that if I have a dispute with a telco I need to contact TIO but is there similar body for energy retailers?
