Why not buy this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/316374
Not very good value, has a GTX 745. This was better value but unfortunately the deal is over now.
Then just add for AU$177 this.
It's $212.83 AUD including shipping costs.
You end up with 8 GB less RAM and a lot worse graphics card (for spending $20 more), it's just horrible value however you look at it honestly.
@moneybaby: but it is available at least unlike other suggestions ;-)
@swapsey: I made a quick build on PCPartPicker with similar parts and you could build the same thing for less with some money left over for a graphics card.
Once again, it's just horrible value all around.
@moneybaby: Missing: PSU, keyboard, mouse, gpu, 2xdimm slots
@swapsey: PSU is in the list, lol.
You can pickup a Logitech K120 keyboard and mouse combo for $30 from anywhere really. It's not like you're getting a quality mouse and keyboard from that deal.
The GPU wasn't included for a reason, with the money left over you can spend it on whatever graphics card you want and it'll still be cheaper if you end up choosing a 1050 Ti like you suggested.
Fair enough with the DIMM slots, it was just a quick comparision.
@moneybaby: I like it! You make some really good points that OP should listen to. Dell is just mass produced anyway and it is really useful to know your system by building it yourself.
Cause he's looking to build a GAMING pic.
Like this perhaps?
There is a bitcoin mining craze atm, so the graphics card prices are inflated by at least 50-100 dollars more than the usual price.

Just box it's 1394, with screen + mice + kb + headphones 1983.
this build will play newer games* on 1080p high 60fps or 1080p ultra 30-45fps.
*(nier automata, mass effect:A, wildlands, pubg)
for LOL/overwatch/HOTS it will easily get 100fps - 200fps.You can also try and get cheaper price by going to or price matching MSY to CPL/centrecom/scorptec.
Build TL;DR i5-7500 - 16GB ddr4 - 240GB ssd + 3Tb HDD + GTX 1060 6GB + box = $1394
if looking for alternative parts use http://www.logicalincrements.com/ and set the country to Australia.
Ethereum and Zcash actually.
GPU mining bitcoin has been dead for half a decade.
maybe something like this?
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/7bvJd6This is my build.
- CPU: Intel i5-7500
- GPU: Gigabyte RX480 8GB
- RAM: Corsair 2400Mhz 16GB
- MoBo: ASUS B250
- SSD: Intel m.2 256GB
- HDD: Seagate 1TB
- Case: Corsair Air 240
- PSU: Corsair CX430
- CPU Cooler: Corsair H60
Game Benchmarks (without Overclocking):
- Dota 2 (120FPS at Highest Settings)
- CS GO (160FPS at Highest Settings)
For the video card, best getting whatever is on special.
I was lucky enough to buy the RX480 before the crypto jump.
