Thai Airways have some great fares to Europe currently. Departing between 16 August to 14 September 2017, 26 September to 30 November 2017 and 16 January to 20 April 2018. The expiry date on these great fares is 4 July 2017.

  That is a crazy price, considering that Syd- Bkk return alone is normally $750 - $900.

    Not really. There was a deal flying Emirates/Qantas to BKK for AUD522 a few days ago.

  Can someone explain how to find these fares? I'm looking for Perth to Frankfurt or Copenhagen mid-Dec to mid-Jan and I can't find fares anything close to $1000. Am I supposed to be looking at iwantthatflight, flightfinder or thai airways website?

    if you refer to the description its only for departures between between 16 August to 14 September 2017, 26 September to 30 November 2017 and 16 January to 20 April 2018. The time period you are looking falls outside those periods hence you cant see anything close to $1000. Hope this heaps.

  IWTF newbie here. So you have to leave and come back exactly on those dates? Or as long as you leave within and come back on those dates the price should be around that fare?
