  • I use Menulog a fair bit when I can't be bothered coooking so this is a great deal. The only issue is it appears to be for new subscribers only so I guess I'm out of luck this time.

Just an update for all, we will remove referrals from posts for one day deals

This is because the massive postings of these one day deals some very marginal, and some people were just posting as many as they could find. so yes post a deal because you want to share, but its to share with the community - ie give something back not for personal benefit.

    Our new rule is

Due to the influx of Daily Deal and Group Buy deals, affiliate and/or referral links on such deals are not permitted. This includes links or codes within the deal description.

Oh and BTW the deal is slightly different from that presented in this post

Get $20 towards a home delivered meal from your favourite local restaurant for only $5 when you place your first order online

Its not $20 worth of food for $5 its $20 off the cost of the food delivered. Menulog charges more than the restaurant to cover the delivery. Yes you save $15 but much of the saving is off the delivery charges.

    • Not a problem (I've only posted a couple of these in the past and only because I like the deal). It won't deter me posting them if I think they're decent :)

      • Thanks simonk , just for the others reading this, it wasnt specifically addressed at you, and the rule has just been changed.

        So keep up the postings…

  • There's a similar one for Sydney, but hasn't tipped yet so just wait.

    • which site is it please, i dont care if its tipped i would like to know

  • just make up a new account

    • I'm fairly sure I've tried that before and it didn't work. Not sure if they just go by your delivery address.

  • you can get around that by changing your number to be a unit usually,

eg if your address is 30 high st melbourne
then you put unit 2/30 or 30b

if they go by a phone number and you dont have a second one put 03 0000 0000 or just 10 zero's. by privacy law you are not required to give anyone a phone number (as much as some companies beleive they have a right to demand one, they don't)so if they do not allow you to zero it out then report them to the privacy comissioner.
