    • My experience says that its obvious. They give free apps with limitations for marketing, usually useless. So i dont bother anymore to download.

      That's just for more languages to translate to, the full english to english version is included.

      Its free so give it a try. It it doesn't meet your standards delete.

    • ABBYY have a superb track record for OCR, I also know this from experience with their software bundled with Fujitsu ScanSnaps.

    • Google translate is excellent, but does the android app (assuming there is one) do realtime translation from the camera?

      • No idea.. but my guess is that if a google app can do something in iOS it should be able to do it on android
