Received an email from EB Games and these are both at a great price again.
Steam Link will be $9 cheaper than the last EB Games offer, whereas the controller is the same as last time.

I wasnt asked to provide ID or anything but they gave me the hardware and refunded me $8 cash
The price is definitely $27 instore. However EB head office accidentally loaded the price into the store computers as $23. This means it's upto the staff member to manually change the price to the correct price of $27. Unsurprisingly lots of staff forgot to do so or don't realise.
I also got charged $23 in store at EB Craigieburn.
As per above comments - I picked up 2 that I had ordered and paid for and the Lady at the counter told me that they were cheaper than what I paid and refunded me $8 cash . Score

I tried the controller, but did not really like. Anyone has any other option like Steam controller but not weird shape (Like the idea of cursor pad)? Currently have Xbox One and Logitech F310 (Everytime I see the controller remind me of Dick Smith Sales.)
I have my PC with Asus pce-ac68 connected to the router Nighthawk X6 through 5Ghz band then to this. all wifi, any with similar setup?, small house

@XC3LL: When I went to pick them up in store the sales clerk was a but sheepish and didn't even check my email invoice or ID to verify I was the customer, merely asked for my name. I think she knew that I was paying too much. I will return on Monday.
