See you all next week !!

What I got this time round:
    1 x headphone QC35 $250
    1 x pots and pans $99

    • You didn't use the code on the pans?

      • can only use it once

        • +12

A true ozbargainer uses the code on their pets account

        • +5

If CHAOS code is already used, then could have/can use the COUNT20 code for $20 off $100 spend, just add a $1 item to your cart, actually makes the pots and pans cheaper than what the deal was ($80 delivered vs $84.15 delivered). Then there is always C5OZ as backup, 5% off with $30 min spend. All eBay codes

      • +3

Nooo.. I only remembered the Chaos.. which I used on the headphones.. =(

then I read the ozbargin page after .. with regret

        • You need multiple accounts . I have 4 accounts, 3 of which are kept dormant so they attract discount codes that regular users don't get.

Also when opening a new account, don't buy anything on it until they send you a $20 voucher ( no minimum spend) about 4 weeks later.

        • @ash2000:

Is it ok to use the same PayPal account on multiple ebay ids? And still get the discount?

        • +1

          @kev98:

Yes. I use just one PayPal account across all eBay accounts and get the discounts.

    Fail.

    • +2

It's in the OP scotty. Did you end up taking it for a ride lol?

      • +3

It's my older daughter's bike. My other daughter will upgrade from her old BMX with this new white one.

    • must be good then? I dont think I have the testicles to ride one of these in public.

      • +6

I dont think I have the testicles

        Correct, not required :)

  • Need men's bicycle.

    • +3

Nothing stopping any male from riding this except conditioning since birth on what is "male" and what is "female" with regards to a mechanical apparatus designed to get oneself from Point A to Point B.

Move beyond that silly conditioning and you too can enjoy riding this bike.

  • That's a cool bike!

  • After I apply the coupon and select payment method of paypal and login it removes the discount. It also will not let me select to pay with CC. Anyone else having an issue?

    • Just use paypal before the stock level is 0….

  • are these bikes heavy?

    • No. Only VVTiL-ift.

      Clutchless gear shift too.

      • reverse camera at least?

        • Optional go-pro

      • aye

  • Even for parts alone, this bike is well worth it.

  • Size wise it's not that big for women..
Teenage girls though it's a great bike and an amazing price!

  • Could have done with a nice hybrid bike (flat bars and non-clip pedals though). Oh well.

  • Thanks TA. Bought one.

  • Great deal! Got one, ta TA.

  • Nice. Even with a bucket. How heavy is this bike?

    • +1

Very heavy. Read the comments here. But with this price, still a nice bargain

The basket is not that good either and it rattles quite badly. It's foldable though, something like this. However it makes a good holder for a real basket.

      • Use cable ties to stop the rattling

  • Delivering a bike usually delivery would be $100+ just for the freight!

  • 72cm?

  • Is this ebay chaos/mega deal a regular thing?

  • Mine was delivered today. I shall call her Princess.
Couldn't get this sort of value in any local bike store I've ever stepped inside. Thanks Target.

  • Got mine on Saturday, assembled on Sunday, wife gave it a try yesterday and the rear freewheel slipped after merely 1km, i.e. now it spins both ways. That's a cheap crappy bike indeed :) Now contacting Target to see what they can do to have it fixed / replaced.

    • Ah damn! I was stoked after reading the comment above yours by cheepwun. I'm sure Target will do the right thing by you.

    • You've bought 2 of these bikes now, right? Is the first one OK?

      • +1

Yup no problem with the first one. I guess I just got a lemon this time.

    • Well. The saga continues.

Contacted Target on eBay about the faulty flywheel, and Target Online said just bring the bike back with printed tax invoice. They will then provide options to either refund or replacement.

Took the bike to a local Target store and immediately denied warranty because we assembled the bike ourselves. Obviously we have to assemble the bike as it came half-assembled. According to the Target staff we should have used their bicycle assembly service, which costs extra and not available to Target Online customers.

Anyway, with much arguing Target now took over the bike and they will assess whether it's fixable. Warranty will only be granted if it's a manufacturing fault. Mrs not amused.

      • Sounds like a manufacturing fault, rather than something you did in assembly, so should be fine. Annoying it happened, but these things happen I guess. The really disappointing thing is how it was handled at the store - sounds like you got someone on a bad day, as never had issues with returns at Target before.

    • +2

Hopefully the final update. Called Target and they said the bike is ready to be picked up. Went there, and found the bike is still not fixed. Waited for their "bike guy" to turn up to work, waited further 20 minutes for it to be fixed. Yet the rear freewheel still slips. Got their "bike guy" to go all the way to the refund section so they can agree with an exchange. Initially they hesitated because they didn't want to exchange a $159 bike with something I purchased for $79 (actually less, but Target invoice didn't include eBay discount). After showing them that the model number all matched up, they finally gave me a new bike (still unassembled in the box). A yellow one this time…

All up 2 hours wasted at Target + another hour from 2 weeks ago. I could have taken out the freewheel and fixed it myself.

Got mine the other day, put it together fairly quickly. The box was open, but the only part that was missing was the bolt to hold the front mud guard on. I found a suitable bolt to use, so annoying but whatever. Only other minor issue was I found the rear mud guard was rubbing against the tyre - just had to do some minor adjustment there then all good. Daughter rode it to school today, I followed just in case, but no issues. She's very happy with it, so fingers crossed but I reckon it should last a couple of years easy so for $67 it was a great deal.

    • Just trying to put mine together and came on here to see if anyone else was missing the front mud gaurd bolt! Spent ages trying to figure out how to attach the front mud gaurd… only to realise the nut is completely missing. Have phoned target and they're sending one out but annoying at the same time. Otherwise a great deal. Wonder if many are missing

      • Maybe it's hidden somewhere obvious…. But yeah, annoying. Even so, a great deal I think. Glad Target are sending out a replacement. In the meantime can always ride with that off.

      • +1

The nut & bolt was already on the bike on mine. So I just had to loosen it to mount the front mudguard.

        • Ah. That would have made sense. Was definitely missing for me then.
