    So tempting, I've been looking for a Windows laptop but even the most expensive ones have at least one issue with it. Never used a Macbook before though and it doesn't seem Myer is as generous with its returns policy compared to if you bought directly from Apple.

      I'm not sure about electronics but I can tell you Myers has one of the best return policies. In my case it was shoes. Literally 0 questions asked.

      Generally, you could just take it back to Apple store and request a warranty claim if it's under 2 years. If it is faulty, they'll grant it!

      I have a 2014 MacBook Air, using it with Windows/BootCamp (Visual Studio, etc) and I love it. It was way cheaper than any comparable windows laptop (especially buying it 2nd hand)

    Careful, that so called 'New' 15" is actually a 2015 model. It maybe new as in unopened, but it certainly ain't new as in recent tech.

      "I've purchased some items for a friend to take overseas to hand it over to my parents and when he tried to claim the GST off AUD$600 he was told that the tax invoice had a name that was not his, so it was rejected.

      No argument could sway the officer despite referencing the TRS site, her point was that if it a tax invoice made out to "Cash" it would have been fine, but once it's got a name it needs to match the name of the travelers passport."

        The 2017 model has the 7th generation intel processor which is supposedly 20% faster. Design wise, i don't think much has changed.

    Be careful with the 2016 15" 512gb models. Myer doesn't have stock. Had my order from last week cancelled a week after and am still waiting for the refund to clear. They'll happily take payment and won't get back to you for a week or more.

    Hopefully this means Dell has a sale on XPS 13/15 models - Been on a Macbook Air for 3 years and starting to have trouble with the thunderbolt port (now can't output to monitor) so pretty much done with the Macbook.

    Tell you what though, Ebay sucks balls. It took 40 minutes to get through all the security questions for Ebay and Papyal and get it to accept the code. I ended up having to use IE9 just to get all the pages to load.
