Just noticed Shuttle+ is by an Aussie dev. 🇦🇺 👍

  • Cut the rope still contains ads and IAPs. Why?

    • Really even the paid version? That's disgraceful that it still has ads

Yep clicking through shows: Contains ads · Offers in-app purchases

Wont be buying, even for 20 cents.

I've updated the post to advise it contains ads in case it does stop others from purchasing.

        • @Shads:

So what is the difference then between the free one and this one for 20 cents ? Serious question as I like this game.

@ozhunter68: To be honest I'm not entirely sure, both paid and free versions have the same description so there probably isn't much besides the icon which will be on your phone. Judging from the reviews, there is no difference.

I've been using shuttle for a few years now. Its been great. Bought shuttle + just to support the devs. Thanks OP.

    • Does shuttle play local music only or does it hook into spotify or google music?

      • Local only. I'd generally prefer to use the streaming services' own apps anyway.

        • True, but it would be nice if it allowed for streaming services and local music.

  • Cut the Rope has been free in a past deal. Dunno if it had ads or whatever though.

I've noticed chromecast support for music players to be very lacking. No word from Poweramp or Playerpro. For 20c, I'll give Shuttle+ a go.

I remember when paying for an app meant it had ads removed. Why do people settle for anything less?

  • Can't stand paid apps with ads. Have an option at least to remove it with paid options.

  • Why don't music apps allow smart file sorting like mortplayer? Every other music app I've tried is useless in this regard

    • Have you tried Poweramp? It has very good folder playback, although finding the setting to make it like a file browser is hard (Folders > menu > List Options > choose "Hierarchy").

If you want to try it out, you should probably apply a skin — the default Holo skin is kinda ugly. I recommend this Material skin.

      • I did. Will retry though, cheers
