      Terms and conditions on the linked page state "no purchase necessary".

      Although they also state "Open to US residents 13+". My Pandora account is registered in the US, so I'll see if it works for me.

      I did notice on the email that you had to click on to confirm your subscription to the email list.
      It states

      Please Confirm Subscription to receive your
      3 months free Pandora One.

      Once you confirm your email (click 'Yes' below), you'll receive your coupon to redeem within seven days.
