Same, I was trying to use the code around 11.30pm last night and got the same message on two different accounts. I suspect they killed off the code 30 minutes before midnight.
@Droid11: I wasn't debating whether its true or not, just sharing my experience and suspicions. The items I was buying were within Australia from local sellers that I have bought from in the recent past, hence my comment. Ebay have in the past killed off promo codes early. I've had two previous similar experiences when purchasing close to midnight when the code was due to expire.
@Trishool: well, I was checking out the cart like an hour earlier, all the way same till last min. It only say code can't be applied to some item,and I have less than 10 items too

I know that they can restock because they are a big retailer and have already restocked once during this month. The listings also end at the start of next month.oh no… what else should I buy??!

An auction I was sniping ended at 11pm, had to set an alarm to get back up to pay for it before midnight. The loss of sleep was worth the $125 saving.

if I buy something on auction before an offer period (e.g. something I want ends today at auction), but wait to pay until tomorrow when there might be a promo code, would the promo code work as I paid in the promo period?

This sucks I didnt get an email notification about this deal and even I went looking on ebay yesterday at what deals were in place and googling for % off deals turned up nothing :( How do I make sure I get emailed deals like this
