I got one of these about 6 weeks ago ($30 for $15), valid through either March 2018, or August 2018. A long time. Filling the gap with new boost/groupon, amayasim, lycamobile, kogan..
I activated a $30 started pack a couple of days ago, having bought it a good couple of months ago now, and despite it having a sticker on the front saying "activate within 30 days of purchase". So the only limit should be the SIM expiry code, like timmsy23 explained above.

New Optus plans mean the $10 cards expire in only 7 days on the $2/day plan. Use to be perfect for occasional use when it was 30 days expiry. Now a pain in the rear. I have a couple of dozen of them from the $1 7/11 deal last year.

On the other hand it looks like until October you get 1GB/day up from 512MB/day.
I don't this all WW servos participate in this - my local didn't have it (no special on register either after scanning).
My local BP also has this deal going on ….
