Extreme X Carry Case $29 Delivered @ JB Hi-Fi

200

This is a useful well sized (smallish) hard-case from JB's clearance specials.

Extreme X Carry Case for Action Cameras
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/camera-accessories/extreme…

Placed the order without finding many reviews or info, but I'm happy with the build, quality and size - will be perfect for mirrorless camera, satellite phone, action cam etc. Comes with 4 layers of foam, 2 with pick and pull bits, feels solid and seals well.

I didn't find any other hard cases about this size anywhere near this price (ticket price on the case I was sent said $79), even better when the $29 includes delivery (2 days via Toll courier).

Limit appears to be 1 per account.

Keep out of reach of jv.

  • Awesome, been looking for a nice little one of these, cheers!

  • Would this fit a DJI Mavic + controller + batteries?

  • If they're anything like the SCA ones, I have a few of those in various sizes and they're great. Here's a similar sized one with slightly larger Internal Dimensions: 300 (W) x 225 (D) x 132mm (H) http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/ToolPro-Safe-Case-3…

Even after their usual 20% storewide sales, this only comes down to about $38, so the JB one looks like a good buy! (Not sure about the colour though..)

  • OP, do you happen to have a picture of the insides when you first got it?

  • Grabbed one, thanks OP!

  • hmm, tempted to get one to put some lenses in but the interior is only 100mm deep according to JB Hi-Fi.

not sure that's enough to lay them flat, you'd have hardly any foam left to protect them.

    • I use this one from bunnings for my DSLR + lenses. Biggest lens is probably my 24-105mm f4/L, and fits it perfectly. Has been through a few knocks too, and dragged halfway across the country multiple times.

      • nice, I'll have to go check them out if you can vouch for the build quality.

I've got a $50 gift voucher for Bunnings too so that's perfect, thanks.

        • I have an older one (but im almost certain thats the 'newer' model) and its taken more scrapes and bumps than i can describe, even been overseas. Works well.

Heads up - with these sorts of cases, if you store gear in them at home, put silica gel packets in to absorb moisture and prevent mould on lenses.

  • Ordered, thanks
