Because the TV's are clearance they don't come up in their main page but you can see the prices on the main link and will be priced like this in store. Some great prices :)

The best idea is to probably price match at Appliances Online or another retailer in order to get free delivery.

The prices are below:

  • Are these 4K TVs?

    • Yes

  • +6

More than half of them aren't available to buy. I've been trying to find a Hisense 50K3300UW on sale for days now and can't find one :(.

It's available at RT Edwards if you want to try and price match and get it from there?

      • Ohhh thanks dude, I've never used RT Edwards before, there's one not too far.

        • Too easy, hopefully they price match for you!

        • or if you haven't been to RT Edwards yet, you could email TGG at [email protected] and ask them for a list of stores with the TV you're after in stock. That's what I did for one of the Toshibas, and they got back to me with a detailed list of stores and how many they had in stock at the time quite quickly.

      • Anywhere in VIC? The only one I've been able to find is a single display unit in Geelong Good Guys, which is a bit far out from the northern suburbs

If anyone knows about one in Melbourne-region I will love you forever!

  • Confused by the hisense 7 series price. How do you find that?

    • It's on the main link, it's on the 10th row of the page :)

For clearance items they don't put the price on the product page so people can't order it online, but the price is there and in store.

  • How is the overall quality and reliability of Hisense TVs? Are there specific points about them that they may lack or should be noted?

    • +4

I have a 55" 3 series smart and use the native plex and netflix apps. only netflix does 4k but both HD or 4k netflix looks great. the interface is Opera TV based and it is slow to use the freeview stuff but it does work.. just isn't snappy like say a new PC with an SSD.. but for the price and the picture very happy and no issues.. is used daily.. def much better quality than say your cheaper soniq's etc from JB.

Our 50" Hisense developed a fault after 6 weeks. The retailer was good and sourced us another one. When it's working it's fine although you want to turn off the Super Smooth Motion feature as it makes everything look like it has been film on a video camera IMO

    • +1

They have a 3 year warranty, so ahead of most of the major brands… good reviews, generally good feedback from the internet… I just got one a few months back (55k3300uw), all going well so far.

Sorry the "Samsung 43"(108cm) UHD LED LCD Smart TV" is not available, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    :(

    • It is available, just in-store only however. Or price match at other stores with the main link page.

How much further, if at all, are Gopro prices likely to drop by the end of the month?

    • +1

      13.2%

      • +3

based on the current ethereum prices, I'd say more likely 13.45%

What is the main difference between the Samsung 5-8 Series Tvs?

  • +1

sadly I am after >60'' tv and none of them on sale or has stock. e.g. Hisense 75M7000UWD.

anyone knows which other retailer takes go master card interest free payment apart from TGG and HN?

  • +1

Yeah, I've been looking at the 50M7000UW for a while and it has been that price for a while on TGG website, but when you go to the actual page it says "Sorry the "Hisense 50"(126cm) UHD LED LCD Smart TV" is not available, we apologise for any inconvenience caused"
Doubt Appliances Online would price match that when you can't actually buy it for that price.

    • JB seem to have a limited number of the 55" 7 series back in their stores at about $1200 but they'll sell them at around $1000 if you ask..
owise Videopro wil sell any they have for 1100 I think

      • Which JB did you see them in ?

  • +3

still waiting on a deal for a 65"

  • +1

Anybody found the LG or the 50M7000UW in TGG store in Melbourne? Or at a place that will price match?

No stock of the Hisense models in Qld confirmed via GG online support.

  • Any good recos for Ps4 gaming and Netflix guys..Currently have a Soniq 1080….

Really want 4K but atleast with 100Hz refresh rate.

    • The Hisense is great for PS4. Have a 75' and 70' model and games are very playable. Also why do you want 100hz refresh rate? PS4 only runs 60Hz

      • Thanks and I get that Ps4 does only 60fps but for movies or sports, I was thinking the 100Hz + will help.

    • The 100hz/200hz that TVs mention is not their native refresh rate. In 99% of cases you cannot output a 100hz signal to a 100hz TV. All it really means is the TV has motion interpolation.

This is where the TV inserts extra frames and gives you the "Soap Opera Effect". It's likely all the TVs in this post have this feature as majority of TVs do nowadays. Many people actually turn it off as they dislike the effect.

Unlike computer monitors, 100hz/200hz on TVs doesn't benefit gaming in any way. This is because TVs actually disable motion interpolation while running in 'game mode' since the processing behind it adds a crap ton of input lag.

  • The 3300UW series TV's from Hisense have HDR over HDMI enabled after the latest firmware update.
I have the 65" 3300UW and it's a beast. Super fast, looks great, and the addition of HDR over HDMI makes Horizon Zero Dawn on my PS4 Pro looks incredible. Very satisfied with the purchase!

  • Can't stock online or in store the 50K33300UW

  • +3

I think this needs to be marked as out of stock, TGG said they didn't have stock (anywhere) of the Hisense's or the LG. Didn't check the others though

  • I bought the 49' Panasonic at Xmas and I'll say I'm 70% happy. I choose it because of the anytime feature but I've never really used it unfortunately. Compared to dad's old Panasonic plasma even if it is only 720p, its not great with tracking quick motion particular small objects eg a cricket ball, and blacks are not dark enough (eg Hunger games very dark and moody but even after adjustments, still couldn't get it to look as good as the old TV). I also can't figure out how to set PVR to repeat record a show every week rather than having to set it manually every week but that could be me not sure. I have very slight buyer's remorse I didn't consider the Sony at the time of purchase even though they were $100+ more.

  • I bought a Hisense 50 inch tv 50K3300UW from the good guys a few days back when ebay had their 15% off sale. Received a phone call yesterday with a lady telling me that the model is finished, and they don't have any in stock anywhere in Victoria and told me to get a refund through ebay which is going to be a hassle. It's disappointing how they advertised this as being "in stock" when its not.

    • Yeah I went to Maribyrnong store, told me only demo model at Geelong at that price. Maybe state that on the website. GG timewasters

    • Exactly the same as me. How'd you go getting your refund? Take long?

  • On the hisense australia website it says the model number is 65N7 for the 65" series 7 but it looks like it also goes by 65M7000UWG. can anyone confirm if these 2 tv's are the same thing? the specs look the same too…

    • +3

The 65N7 is a 2017 model. It retails just under $3000 normally. There was a deal on here to get out for about $2600 recently. The 65M7000 is the 2016 model.

The newer model is better because it supports HDR10 out of the box and the local dimming works quite well, but the old version can still be a good buy for the right price

TLDR: no they're completely different models

      • thanks man

  • Panasonic 49"(124cm) UHD LED LCD Smart TV $694
