Looks like a good laptop with decent specs for $675. I'm looking for a desktop, else this would fit my requirements.

  I can clearly recall working in retail more than 10 years ago, and shuddering whenever someone ignored my advice and took a laptop with a non FHD screen.
  
  The fact that they still exist today is a complete travesty and inexcusable.

i7s and GBs are nice buzz terms to throw around, but in reality it would be better to have 4GB RAM, smaller FHD screen, an i5 and a 256GB SSD.
