Saw this with the same sale on a while ago in store and looks like it's back again. 50% off seems like a good deal, this is at the Woolworths in Liverpool Wesfields, thought it could be on nation wide. Also looks like they have three in stock on the shelf.

looks like i will most likely get another series 3. too bad they're no longer available at woolies.
I bought it in the last deal, the comb holder broke a couple of weeks ago and it went from 10mm to 1mm half way through a trim. Also I found it to be not very good at cutting a beard to 10mm, it would take about three days before it wasn't finding hairs it missed.
In short I would not recommend it, even at half price!
I imagine that buying it from Woolies that there was no issue in getting a refund?
I can't find the receipt, I've been looking but no luck. Do you think they will take it without the receipt?
@OZB Al: A proof of purchase would help. Use your credit card statement if it helps indicate the date you purchased it.
If you paid cash…well…it will depend on the person at the service desk…they have no obligation to do anything for you without any proof of purchase.
Also…was the last deal the one a year ago? If so….well…its a bit too long in the tooth I'd think.
I have the 5070 and am pretty happy with it. Haven't done any major beard reshaping with it yet, just general tidying up once or week or so, but it's been fine. I've probably had it three months now, and haven't had to recharge the battery yet.
