  • There are/were 4 bucks on Sunday. So 1 dollar off.

Wow, your maths is on point! So, these are 25% off! Some sweet spinning right there…

  • For anyone thats interested, they're $2 at parramatta at the bottom near the food court near KFC. I have no idea if they're similar to these or they look different (they're probably cheaper material) but yeah.

    • Near the ghost of Dick Smith?

  • +5

This is a decent sign that the trend is dying.

    • +2

Nah still popular depending on where you live. $3 is vgood price.

      FIDGET SPINNER WILL NEVER DIE.

      ALL HAIL FIDGET SPINNER

      • Teaching everyone how to please the ladies, one fidget at a time.

    • Not true! I had a recent shipment with DHL and was told that it may be delayed by 3-4 days due to a "million fidget spinners being shipped from China". This is just overstock that they need to clear out as there's plenty more coming in frequently.

The fad's about to be over. The dude at the local mall looked super bored and I didn't see a single customer everytime I walked past him.
My bid - 50c and no more.

Friend of the wife bought about 8 boxes (about 50/box) of these things in from China and set up a table in the local shopping centre. Sat there all day with a "$10 each" sign and sold… 4… bwahahah.

According to a guy in another post, they are just taking off!

      • +1

Yes we must all have one..

        • +3

She has had these boxes for over a month and hasn't even sold one whole box worth yet. I'm in tears when she said that there is over $5,000 in spinners. I just go into hysterics and laugh every time she tells me about how they were a great "investment" and she is actually serious…

Forget superannuation, realestate or the stock market, I'm jamming all my loose cash into spinners! ROI is insane! :D

        • @pegaxs:
Wow just wow way to test the market before jumping in.. but then again that is what they call diversification right

Ill take 5 grand on red thanks

        • +2

          @pegaxs: 8 boxes * 50 = 400. Sell @ $10 = $4000.. So that $5k must have been theoretical sale value, not cost.

        • @rompastompa:

And you're forgetting the cost of rent which could be anywhere from 5k to 10k for the month

        • @rompastompa:

          about 8 boxes (about 50/box)

And yeah, I only guessed at how many boxes I saw her sitting there with. And here's the hilarious part. Her perceived value was that her "investment" was going to net her over $5000 in sales. Her comment was something like, "it's a quick easy $5000 just from this shipment…"

I lost my shit and almost passed out from laughing when the wife spoke to her later and for a whole days work she had sold 4. She was loaded up like she was going to sell the lot in one sitting…

      • I think if they were $4-6 they would have sold. People know they're hard to find but they also know what they're worth and in most cases are not desperate to buy.

Seems to be more stock around now anyway.

I want a spinner that I don't need to spin or hold. Though I could just watch a fan spin around, or one of the million washing machine videos on YouTube :O

  • Excellent! Veteran artisans at Chopard's Paris workshop are handcrafting some for Ye Olde Reject Shoppe at Cessnock. A bargain at only $1,795 each! Don't worry, I'll post them soon.

  • I finally caved in and ordered one from China on top of a recent order for $4AUD. http://www.gearbest.com/fidget-spinners/pp_633870.html fully kitted out with a bluetooth speaker and flashing LED's. Had to have it haha.

    • Haha so cool! Must resist not to buy this….
