Can you post pics of the barcodes please as they should be generic

    • +2

I reckon right. Post pics of barcodes or GTFO ;)

    The study is about Woolworths?

      About weed

        Lol

Please post pictures of the barcodes. They are generic and I would assume they can be used at any store, as I served a woman who used the same barcode in two separate transactions in Wetherill Park, and it worked both times. I was wondering where she got it.

Also, the promotion hasn't expired. You can clearly see the expiration date in the photo as the 30th of June 2017.

Lol you are saying that even though you work for them, thank you!!

All hail Lord WaterMark. Cheers for that mate.

        • +1

It say cannot be used if copied, but i really want to use the vouchers.

        • +1

@Savas: Yes it does say that, but the voucher itself does not. The voucher itself is just a barcode and a picture. Print it out with a laser printer or ask the cashier to type it in and you should be fine.

We live in the age of cards being scanned off of phones, like the every day rewards card being used by multiple people in several locations with only one physical card. This is no different.

@xAUSx Reaper: Thank you very much for all the hard work!

        • +1

@xAUSx Reaper: Coupon scanned but only came up as the numbers and cashier said didn't work. They said it was a scam and don't expect you to know why.

        • +1

@Savas: if the coupon came up, then it's in the system, so it cannot be a scam. The only condition is to spend over $25 in the transaction to get the cheese for free, and it's only the 500g Woolworths tasty cheese slices, light tasty slices, and extra tasty cheese slices. If it didn't work, that would be the first place to check. The first picture had this information. Tell the cashier they are an idiot. Coupons always come up as just numbers, the description isn't in the system. F**king noobs. I hate their whole department ahaha. You still have 6 days, so it's worth trying again if one of the things I mentioned wasn't part of your failed transaction.

        • +1

@xAUSx Reaper: Lol thank you so much, very interesting information. Yeah think the cashier was too incompetent, will tell her that next time lol. Since have since used the coupons with no issues!

      • +1

Legend! Unless you can scan them..

  • +2

If anyone has a chance to use it, please report back whether the scan works.

    Thanks OP!

I had to shop this Arvo. I was actually able to use 3 coupons at the self serve checkout, in 3 seperate transactions.

They wouldn't actually scan from my phone, I even tried entering the barcode on Stocard app thinking it might work but the scanners couldn't pick it up on the self serve checkout.

I asked the lovely self service checkout worker and she entered the barcodes manually for me 3 times.

Might work on printed voucher. I'll try that next time. Got everything except for the rocky road :)

    • +1

Thanks so much for that! I noticed my phone couldn't scan the barcodes printed or on a computer screen, so i enlarged the barcodes and cropped the background, hopefully that should work.

    • +1

I had the same experience with the bar codes. Had them entered manually. I also picked up everything but the rocky road.

I have to say the coffee ice cream is actually really good - it's up there with Connoisseur!

      Nice find OP - thanks!!

    • I was actually able to use 3 coupons at the self serve checkout, in 3 seperate transactions.

So you can't use the barcodes at the same time?

      • My feeling is once per WR card and only 1 per txn. I can't be certain but that is how I am playing it

  • +2

I just used one of these at the self service checkout. I printed the deals onto a bit of paper and folded it into quarters, and the one I used scanned fine.

  • +1

Coupons scanned but didn't do anything, staff tried to help but failed..

    • +1

I used it and it worked. When it scans the screen shows saved coupon. You then need to purchase the required minimum spend. The free item must also be scanned but cannot be used towards the minimum spend.

      • +1

Awesome! Good to hear the coupons are still working, no idea why it didn't work then. The coupon scanned as numbers it self but didn't say anything else about the coupon. Wonder if my printer somehow screwed something up, wanted them to enter manually but they refused and said it was a scam..

        • +1

You must scan your WR card too

    • +1

You must scan your WR card too

      • +1

Thank you very much for the help! Thought I did that, will give it another shot. Just wondering how did you present the voucher?

        • +2

Got the screen shot, cut the barcode in Paint.NET (image editor), cleaned it up and printed it. It only takes barcodes in that format - using your phone or UPC barcodes won't work.

Oh and my wife tells me the Cookies and Cream ice cream is nice too :-)

        • +2

@singingwolf: Funny i used exactly the same method! Thanks so much singingwolf, starting to think the cashier didn't do something right or made a mistake. Hopefully works next time so i can try the cookies and cream ice cream! Or might try self serve checkout if staff are going to be useless and call my barcode a scam.

        • +1

@Savas: Awesome! It seems to taste better when it's free.

        • +3

          @singingwolf: Worked perfectly, many thanks.

        • +1

          @Savas: Sweet!

        • @singingwolf: hey that's awesome that they work printed… any chance you could post the edited image you used successfully at checkout? would be super appreciative!

        • @yupyup: Sorry mate - just saw this - too late?

  • +1

Been getting the cheese and ice cream, great stuff!

  • +2

Thanks op, this is a great deal. Its probably nationwide, as i just confirmed working in coorparoo, qld. Used self serve, and Stocard method didnt work as said above, but saved image on phone, then called the helper over and said i had gotten a bunch of coupons at an event recently, but dont have my wallet as i only use my phone to pay these days (true, i was just using android pay), they punched it in for me manually and voila😊 i probably wont be bothered using edit/print method but that does sound more foolproof. Hope this helps someone

  • So did anyone actually try to use several of them together on $25+ transcactions, like getting both cheese and mallows? Or does it work as 1 any coupon per transaction with WR card?

  • +2

I split my transactions up at the self checkout. So far have got 5 tubs of ice cream, one cheese slices and two soups. Stores have been out of the rocky road things for a while.
